Property is rundown, the lift and the rooms are from the 80s if not 70s. My room was really tiny and not put together very well, but for one night and two days this was enough.

This is really a decent budget option, a bit rundown, but the location is brilliant and that's the biggest benefit.

The room was much smaller than expected - it seems we got the smallest one shown in the photos gallery! A few minor things: initially the aircon didn't work but when I mentioned it to Reception they said we needed them to switch it on for us - it worked fine after that. The bathroom vent did not appear to be working so there was a lot of steam (I mentioned this to Reception & they were not worried). No toilet roll holder so you have to reach behind if you're seated...

The room & bathroom were nice & clean and maintained by housekeeping daily. The bed was comfy & shower was nice & hot. Location was good - not too far to the nearest Metro station. Staff were nice & even patient with me practicing my French! Very close to some great restaurants (literally down the road).

The lift was really small so we struggled to get our cases in. We were on the 4th floor so had to use the lift as our luggage was too heavy to carry.

Not the worst thing but the shower is in a corner of the bathroom so it will slightly wet the rear of the bathroom

Cute hotel near Gare de Lyons and within walking distance to some of Paris’ must see sights. I only stayed a night - check in was easy and the room was spacious by Paris standards.

The room was very clean, the shower good and the position of the hotel was perfect for an overnight stay in Paris before travelling on to Provence.

I stayed literally for one night, so I did not spend much time in the room. People working on the reception were great, kind and friendly! You can leave your luggage in the morning/evening, there is a special closing place for that. Room was clean and nice, good quality mattress. Interesting shower(there is no cabin, you are staying on the floor in the corner of the bathroom and have a shower curtain around), but it’s ok.

The hotel lift is challenging! Max 2 (modestly sized) people. We just about managed to get both of us and our luggage in to go up to our room, but bringing it back down, did it in 2 stages, which worked a lot better.

The location is great and it's a 'value' level hotel, so not crazy expensive for its location. It was just a short walk from the Gare de Lyon, and is an easy bus ride to/from the Gare du Nord (and Gare de l'Est) making the transfers really easy. The hotel is a little off the beaten track relative to the crowds in central Paris, which we really liked, but walking distance along the canal and river to many of the big attractions like Notre Dame, and a really pleasant walk, with gardens along the banks of the river. Lovely to see people dancing in the little amphitheatre spaces along the riverside on Sunday. It looks like the ensuite has been recently fully refurbished, and it's obviously well cared for.

No tea pot, no glass.

Reasonable price and a room od that quality. Very small, but very clean. No tea pot in the room, which was an inconvenience for me, but that's all. Placed near the subway, 6 minutes. Nice people at the reception desk

Very cramped. The shower water was quite cold even on hottest. Some suspicious stains on the curtains. Great sound insulation from the outside, but from the inside you can hear people slamming doors.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Honestly we were shocked to see that the place looked nicer than their advertised photos. The bathrooms were well updated, and the room was very clean.

Great location. 5 min walk from train station and there are so many good restaurants nearby, as well as the opera house. 25 min train from the Eiffel Tower and all the main attractions of Paris.

Only minor things, but there was a large hair on the bed sheet and there was no regular hand soap in the bathroom. Overall it was a good place to stay!

Very great location! Near la Bastille, Le Marais, and all of the close-in Paris neighborhoods. Easy walking to everything. Located on a quiet street and was a comfy place to stay

The room was clean and comfortable, but on the smaller size. However, for the price, location, time of year, it was definitely a fantastic place to stay. Would definitely recommend for stays of up to 5 days, any longer and the size of the room might become an issue.

A kettle was supplied. Luckily we had brought our own tea and coffee as one packet of decaffeinated coffee didn't go far. The light and fan in the toilet are on a timer and they do stay on for quite a long time.

The room was big and very clean. We liked having two sinks in the bathroom and it was nice to have the option of a bath. The bed was very comfy. The location was ideal for the Batobus and Metro.
