The pictures of the facade are better than the reality. It is a decent hotel, more appropriate for a business stay than a leisurely one. Breakfast was quite basic.

Conveniently placed, not far from Azay le Rideau village. Plenty of parking, gas station on the other side of the street. Friendly staff.

This was a great hotel for an overnight stay on the way to and from the Dordogne. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the hotel and room was air conditioned which was extremely welcome in 37 degrees, they have a car charger, welcome dogs and have a good restaurant.

Gardens looking rather run down- but I arrived during a heatwave. It did spoil the impression a little.

Very friendly staff, good sized room with very efficient aircon. Really nice to have an onsite restaurant with freshly cooked food, a decent wine list and nice cheese board. Easy to park too.

We had to wait for 35 minutes before anyone took our order but the food when it finally arrived was excellent.

Exterior was a little tired looking and needed a clean.

The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was very good. I would have preferred an extra fish choice but the meal I had was excellent, although perch was unusual for a British meal.

We stayed one night in the hotel, which is located on the outskirts of Azay-le-Rideaux. The staff was very welcoming and nice (add to this a parrot welcoming guests in the reception :)) The room was pretty big, with all the amenities, tea and coffee maker. The hotel is next to a pretty busy roundabout junction, but there is practically no noise, good windows. Had a good night's sleep.

The toilet was in a very small space. Otherwise everything else was OK.

The continental breakfast was wide and varied. Location was ideal for easy access on main routes. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It was more or less in an industrial estate and the room was on the small side, the bathroom even smaller.

Was expecting an older style quirky country house, which it definitely is not.

Dinner was very good, but sadly they had run out of our first choice of steak. Excellent breakfast too. staff were charming and very helpful. the room was comfortable with nice outside space, handy for our dog.

Booked a meal but found it rather expensive for what we had. The lamb was cold and had to pay an extra 7 euros for it on top of price of set meal. Wasn’t impressed by it. Wished we had walked into town for the variety of restaurants that were there in a prettier setting than the hotel was.

It was right off a round about. Still very quiet. My brother stayed at a place that was super high end right in the downtown area for the same price.

The beds were very comfortable. The owner and staff were so kind and friendly. They also spoke excellent English (not required:), but it was helpful.

though was expensive I was also confused by method of payment. I though I had to pay booking.com directly but ended up paying the hotel and I couldn't verify if that was correct, if I wasn't double charged. I wasn't so all good but I was confused.

I thought the hotel would be nearer the centre of town. However was able to walk to the chateau Azay-le-Rideau le Rideau and back.. but walk not for everyone,

The room was well appointed and spacious. Dining room was comfortable and the dinner was delicious.
