FranceNo wifi. Shower is old and poor. Bunk bed so poor and noisy that we could hear every time my son made the smallest movement. Generally the flat was dirty and utensils poorly cleaned. The overall impression is of renting out at maximum profit with little regard for the people staying.

It just so happened that we ran into the cleaner who lovely and managed to get an electrician for us. The bath was absolutely disgusting, the shelving units were falling off the wall and the door to the balcony was falling off its hinges.

IrelandWhen we arrived at our accommodation at 5:30 pm there was nobody to greet us, after ringing the accommodation we were told the apartment wasn’t cleaned for us as they had a busy day of departures but we could leave ourself into the accommodation to drop our bags. We left for a while to eat and when we came back the apartment had still not been cleaned. We rang the accommodation again and we were informed that the apartment had been cleaned however there was still some rubbish from the previous guests on the kitchen table. We also paid €169 euros for linen and towel rental for the week on the first day and it never arrived throughout the week long stay despite trying to contact them numerous times. On the second last day I managed to get through on the phone requesting a refund and I am still to hear anything in reply. Lots of things not working in the property such as doors not closing and handles broken and drains blocked. Overall we still had an amazing time in a magical ski resort and we would definitely like to come back however not to this accommodation again.

United StatesNo sheets or towels provided—it is in their booking terms, but it was still disappointing. The fridge was open when I arrived, the liners in the trash cans were thin and torn… It just seemed like a neglected rental property that probably shouldn’t be rented outside of the winter ski season… I would generally avoid Val Thorens and stay in Les Menuires.
Staff was responsive and friendly. One of the few places open in the off season.
