The room smelled weird and I couldn't get that smell out. Although the room was cleaned every day, there was dust under the bed so I wouldn't recommend it to people with dust allergies. The breakfast was not worth the money (not sure how it would compare to similar hotels in Bordeaux though).

Great location (in the city centre, close to a tram stop). The receptionists were nice and helpful.

Would love to redecorate it properly in its original style. I'm guessing they do not bother as the demand is still high without doing anything because of the location.

A favorite. Slightly funky French hotel, steps from restaurants and the heart of Bordeaux. Next to Grand Theater, tram line, and the miroir d'eau. Needs some updating, but not too much.

Breakfast room was confusing and chaotic. Service wasn't great. Staff seemed stressed and unfriendly.

Very little to dislike. Self service breakfast was basic but only 8 euros.

Excellent postion in the centre of Bordeaux with a good choice of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc nearby. Beds were very comfortable and the room was large with large windows overlooking Bordeaux's neo-classical architecture.

The only things that could be improved are small items of maintenance but I would definitely stay there again.

Cosy traditional hotel with very friendly staff. All necessary facilities available. Nice Cafè for breakfast and other meals and refreshments. Ideally situated in the square

The rooms smelt a bit musty, but it’s old. I’d stay here again though.

This property is in the best location for everything. Shopping, sightseeing and dining. The hop on hop off bus starts right next door.

Rooms were very old, dated, gloomy and just tired. I was travelling with 4 friends and they all said the same thing. At check in breakfast was paid for and booked. When I arrive for breakfast my name wasn’t there. Had to show the receipt and go to reception to sort it.

Location was very good. Right in the heart of Bordeaux. Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast (once I was let in) was very good. Fair value for money considering it’s location.

Decor needs refreshing. Has potential to be a chic boutique hotel.

Great location in the heart of Bordeaux (the city)across from the Intercontinental Hotel. Tons of boutiques and restaurants within walking distance. The reasonable price and location way make up for the rather simple decor. Highly recommend for a short stay in Bordeaux~

The whole hotel has seen better days. The carpets are worn out and filthy;, the curtains are falling off their runs; there is peeling paint on all the doors;.

The room we had could definitely use an update, especially the bathroom. We didnt have a safe either meaning we couldn't store valuables safely. The breakfast was only continental, no hot food served. The location was excellent but we felt the facilities could use an upgrade

Location is excellent, staff were very helpful. Our room was an ok size
