We liked everything and would stay there again.

The guest house exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful and charming; the room was beautifully decorated and clean, with a newly renovated bathroom. Everything was very clean. The pool was great! Wondeful, freshly cooked breakfast (including eggs, fruit, pastries, and yogurt). Everything was delicious. We traveled with a small child, and he enjoyed playing with the toys and piano in the salon.

What a wonderful stay. I will definitely come back again. This place has everything. I appreciate an absolutely unbelievable attention to detail. The bed was comfortable, the room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, the pool was beautiful, the view was out of this world and the staff was excellent. The free parking on property was extremely useful as well.

We had a lovely spacious room and en suite in this beautiful old Manor House. Our room was very well appointed, comfortable and clean whilst also being very homely! The bathroom was spacious with everything we could need; the shower was good. Breakfast was really good with delicious fresh fruit, bread and croissants, freshly-squeezed orange juice, plenty of tea and coffee and the options of cold meat and cheese or eggs made to order. Fabulous! Having an informative text (about our room readiness and parking) just ahead of our stay was very useful and we had a lovely welcome from the owner when we arrived; she was very helpful. There’s plenty of places to sit or lounge in the lovely garden or by the heated swimming pool which we were welcome to use. The medieval city is a pleasant 700m walk (some uphill) from the Manor and there’s a wide choice of restaurants, cafés and bars a couple of minutes walk from the Manor as well as many more within the walls of the old city.

Wonderful property with parking and breakfast. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. The pool was a nice treat after a hot day of riding. The hotel is very close to the medieval town and restaurants. We loved our entire experience.

Absolutely wonderful stay in beautiful house. Staff (owners) were warm, welcoming, and very competent. They managed to cleverly combine classic antique furniture with modern comforts. Our room had a real wow-factor : definitely my most enjoyable overnight stay in a long time. Also enjoyed relaxing in swimming pool area and lovely garden.

An amazing historical Manor in a great location just outside the walls. The house is full of antiques which sends you back in time . The family made us all feel very welcomed . The house and rooms are all big with lots of communal areas. It also has a pool set in lovely garden which was fabulous in the hot weather. Rooms all have kitchens or kitchenettes so making your own food is possible, however we had the breakfast and used the local restaurants which were all excellent.

This is a home from home. The rooms are beautifully designed, well maintained and homely - and stocked with thoughtful additions such as local wines. On arrival we were given a map showing our location and ten restaurant recommendations which made our overnight stay really easy. You can leave your car securely parked in the grounds and walk up into the walled town in just a few minutes. We didn’t get chance to use the pool but it looked great.
