The pillows on the bed. Large, flat & square. Not comfortable at all. No additional pillows in the room are supplied. Stated they had tea & coffee facilities in the room but only had a coffee pod machine. No kettle to make tea. No tea supplied. Also if you want milk it’s not supplied in the room.

Location is great to the old town area. Room was clean & well presented.

It is practical to have breakfast at the hotel, and the server was very nice. There is yogurt, à variety of jam, cereals, and you are offered juice and a plate of bread: a good croissant, but the baguette was underbaked and the crepe was rubbery. €12 seems a bit high, when there is a nice bakery just down the street.

The room was spotless! Nice sized room with a very comfortable bed, good pillows, and nice towels. Very friendly and helpful team at reception desk. Good location to walk into town.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean and we were given a stained towel which although had been cleaned previously was horrible.

It was very conveniently located for the old town and had car parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

The room was very simple but spacious, quiet and clean. There is no elevator and we were on the second floor so be prepared to haul your suitcases up two flights of stairs. The location was convenient for walking to the old town. Breakfast was good. If you have a chance the Pizzeria de Quai was extraordinary.

Television stopped working soon after we arrived and staff were unable to fix it even though they were very helpful and tried hard to rectify it.

Room was adequate in size with working heating. We didn't stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Secure parking was good and location was reasonably close to the old town. Receptio had closed by the time we arrived but the lady from the hire car office next door telephone for us and they opened reception and allowed us to put the car in the car park so we could explore the town.

I didn't like the fact that booking.com hide the "hold fee on the room" way down in your info about the hotel. you need to put that up front. I was surprised to be notified that a temp hold was placed on my card.

My room was in a courtyard at the back of the main building, where there was no outlook and the surroundings were noisy at times.

Hotel de la Gare was very welcoming and I was amused by the offer of a welcome drink - in my case, cider. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were good.

Located opposite the train,coach and bus station. Antoine and Alex are great hosts and Audrey, receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. Don't be fooled by the front view as hotel extends back with adequate car park. Breakfast is adequate and good value.

there are different buidlings/sections, so you need to get in the hotel, then go out through the parking to reach one of the room areas. Breakfast was offered only after 9am, due to lack of personnel.
