Bit noisy on road side.

Great location if travelling by train. Helpful, friendly proprietor - happy to hold baggage while we were on an extended walk. Didn't claim to be more than 2 star - it had everything necessary (aircon is mostly not necessary) & everything worked. Comfortable beds. Clean & comfortable.

Being British, we would have loved a kettle in our room so we could have a cup of tea whenever we wanted one. We were able to get hot water from the coffee machine but the breakfast room was not accessible at night

Friendly, helpful, easy-going staff. We were, allowed to store our bags and use facilities until our train left after lunch. Very easy short walk to the station. Beautiful view of river and mountains from our room.

A simple 2 star hotel with very clean, bright rooms and basic facilities at very reasonable cost. The owner is very helpful.

The mattress was rather uncomfortable as it was not smooth and had ridges/corrugations! My room was facing the main road and, with the windows open, it was quite noisy in the morning. When the windows were closed, the sound proofing was quite effective.

I stayed in 2 different hotels in Modane, either side of a week's walking in the mountains, and this was definitely the nicer hotel. Breakfast was reasonably adequate. Pleasant staff.

Could do with parking but parked my motorbike on the pavement outside.

Right on the main road near the station, if you're coming by train. Couple of local bars and restaurants. Easy walk into main part of town, very quiet. No street lights at night so perfect view of the Milky Way!

Breakfast good and evening meal on my first visit was excellent. Unfortunately evening meal not available on second visit. Plenty of alternatives locally.

Breakfast was basic but adequate. The rooms on the back have a beautiful view of the river and mountains. The rooms are basic but are ideal for a stopover on the way to a ski resort. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Nothing really. We got in very late and left in the morning to go hiking. Everything was good.

Very good location to start the Tour de Vanoise. The manager was very nice as our bags were delayed so we would not arrive at the hotel until 1:00am and we were able to call and they gave us the code to get into the hotel.

There were hardly any restaurants that were open nearby. It takes a long time to get to the town center and there are no bars there either. It's a very quiet area...

A small but very clean hotel opposite the train station. The room was comfortable, the mattresses very good. Everything worked fine in the bathroom. The small breakfast was more varied than expected. I would particularly like to highlight the very nice and very hospitable and helpful reception!

more flexibility could be given to travellers who need to catch transport after 10:00 am (for example, allowing them to stay in the lounge for longer, even with a fee)

dinner is exceptional! I like the Mexican burger I get, recommend it for you, too.

Screen between bedroom and bathroom may not be to everyone's taste. A soap dispenser at the sink would be better then just sachets of hair/body gel.

A clean basic hotel offering a friendly welcome and decent breakfast close to the TGV station. There's no restaurant but there are options close by. Fair value.
