Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNot the hotel's fault but the wasps were unpleasant making breakfast on the terrace outside almost impossible and the pool was full of floating dead wasps.
Fantastic hotel in a wonderful location! The room was spacious with everything you need. Lovely buffet breakfast.

United KingdomDifficult stairs to get upto the room with heavy luggage, steep stairs around the hotel. Wasps a plenty but not the hotels fault! very quiet atmosphere around breakfast...
Boutique style hotel with modern clean facilities. The room was really comfy for a 3 night stay, amazing air con with the 35 degree plus summer heat, Bed huge and really comfy. Pool area was bliss with use of clean pool towels and INCREDIBLE views over Mount Ventoux! not a big hotel, all rooms spread out nicely over different levels. Breakfast fantastic choice loads of homemade French choices. Crillon is a very quiet base we spent most our evenings in Bedouin where there are more restaurants to eat at. Would return in the future!

BelgiumNothing. I liked everything. Ok maybe 2 wasps were annoying at breakfast but that’s nature:)
Everything, really. It’s an amazing place. A real escape if you wish to enjoy restful time inna beautiful scenery. It is clear that the owners our a lot of heart into it. Staff is very professional - they are there but not imposing at all. Delicious breakfast. And nice snacks if you get hungry during the day. I will come back every year.

United KingdomBeautiful surroundings, great atmosphere. Very private and quiet. Peaceful surroundings. The cicadas were amazing! Felt like we had the place to ourselves despite other guests. A great place to stay if you want to decompress from normal life. Excellent for those who want to climb my Ventoux! A taste of the relaxed rustic Provence lifestyle, if only it could last longer.

MonacoThe gym was overgrown and not kept in a good condition.
The village was so pretty and the views from the hotel fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our requests for restaurant recommendations, sunscreen (which we forgot to pack) and bike hire. Breakfast in the hotel was also delicious. We also enjoyed hiring electric bikes and exploring the local area. My wife and I loved our stay here!

United KingdomCan't complain about anything. Sure it is on the more expensive end, but then so is Provence in general and I felt we certainly got value for money for that special treat.
Ok, so we lucked out. Jean Baptiste really looked after us and we were given the room with the view :), overlooking Ventoux, big picture bathroom window, terrace. It was very special, just gutted we were only there a couple of nights. The restaurant recommendations were spot on, reserved for us (thank you again JB) and we were just generally well looked after.

Magnificent! I had beautiful 5 days of rest, relax, nice food. Staff is very friendly, helpful but also somewhat invisible. But you feel someone takes care of everything. I felt like home there. I will come back, with my bicycle this time.

United KingdomStaff are available at breakfast and checking in/out - after that you are pretty much left to yourselves. Listen carefully to instructions as we forgot the exterior door code and needed it to both get out and back in, in the evening. Fortunately there were some other guest around to ask!
This hotel is located in a simply stunning location. Our room had a panoramic view of Mont Ventoux and the surrounding vineyards. So tranquil. We had a lovely terrace with small private garden with sunbeds and seating. We booked a deluxe room which was luxurious, huge, with a very large comfortable bed, seating area and stocked minibar. Pool was amazing, heated and with the same gorgeous views. Hotel operates an honesty bar system whereby you help yourself to drinks around both the pool and bar area in hotel. Breakfast lovely, typically French with fresh local products although no hot options available. Cleaning fairies do your room unobtrusively while you have breakfast. Walkable to Crillon le Brave village and a few local restaurants and patisserie. Will definitely return if back in the area.
