How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Bike on view to passers by as not able to garage it. Pancakes and cakes provided for breakfast (as well as yoghurt, jam, Nutella, oats, raisins) but not the usual fresh pain/bread most places provide.
The hosts (who live separately on site) were incredibly welcoming and friendly with 'make yourself at home' philosophy Massive clean room with electric shutters on the windows and quiet air conditioning unit Big en suite with good shower Communal kitchenette area well equipped with extras included (a small cold beer on arrival, butter, milk etc) Secure garden to store my bicycle Tasty and great value Thai restaurant 250m away

The room was spacious, modern and clean, with a nice bathroom. The hosts were excellent, very nice and accomodating. The area was nice and quiet, with good transportation connections into the city centre.

The bedroom and facilities were perfectly clean the en-suite was large and had a substantial walk in shower, we couldn’t fault anything and would certainly stay there again if visiting or passing through.
Well appointed and comfortable, a recently constructed property some two years ago and built to a high standard by the current owner. The proprietor was extremely helpful with information about the area and offering locations of restaurants they recommended.

The bed was comfortable but the polyester sheets were not pleasant on a hot night. A room as lovely as this deserves the best quality linen to make it top level.
The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom is lovely. The breakfast was well prepared and generous, however everything was carbohydrate-loaded and I cannot eat this kind of food. It would be great to provide some other options, such as cheese or ham or boiled eggs.

Need to go through the host everytime to enter the house which means lack of independance.
Spacious, clean, modern room in a quiet area of Toulouse. Typical French breakfast with bread, jam, butter and coffee/tea. The host live downstairs and are welcoming.

It did say on the Booking.com site that a dine-in meal in the evening would be offered but it wasn't but not too worried as we ate in Toulouse.
Beautiful accommodation, everything was top quality. Breakfast was left by the host and was lovely.

Fabulous location-we we’re able to travel into the centre of Toulouse in 20 minutes by bus and metro. Cozy Lodge is a very modern building and very secure. Our room was beautiful and the bathroom was large. We had access to a fully fitted kitchen. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very much at home, it was lovely to be able to sit in the garden terrace in the evening.

It was a little too far from the town centre

the bed is really hard. Therefore we can’t give the full points for ‘comfort’. the breakfast mentioned in other reviews (perfect, copieus) differs from our experience: two jams, two butters, but no meat or cheese or egg, very old small ‘pain au chocolat’. we didn’t feel it was something to be satisfied with.
It’s perfectly clean. Bathroom is a delight. The owner helped us store our stuff for the night (we were passing through with a full car).

Accommodation is located on edge of Toulouse. Is a new building so very modern. Is easy to find and to park. Is close to transport to the centre of the city. Takes about 30 minutes from house to centre. Hosts are great. Are very helpful in answering any questions you have. Location is a safe area. Rooms are clean and quite. If required you can have breakfast early. We had to catch an early flight and ate before leaving. We would stay again.

The property was brand new. our room and bathroom where just beautiful and our hosts were very very lovely people. Breakfast was excellent and having a small kitchen was a real bonus.
