How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

For the online check-in I needed to provide passport numbers of all guests. Is that really necessary (and secure)....? The doors of the rooms are all outside. I was fine with that, but in case it's raining it may be less pleasant.
Really good value for money. Perfect for a one-night stopover. Reception was open until quite late, so I didn't have to queue up outside to type in endless codes (as is quite common for these type of hotels).

No coffee making facilities in the room
Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Good location for a stop off before Calais with plenty of food options close by

Very reasonable motel type accommodation. Restaurants nearby as well as a huge Auchen supermarket. Lovely beer garden at hotel serving ice cold draft beer. Very good.

No water or tea/coffee in the room. But, the reception staff were happy to give us bottled water. Reception has been updated. The rooms could do with being done next. Good value but you get what you pay for. We would be happy to stay again.
Super friendly staff. Very good shower and a comfortable bed. Nice breakfast with excellent coffee. Secure parking for our motorbikes. A very nice and reasonably prices restaurant 5 minutes walk away which was open on a Sunday evening. Everything we needed after a long day riding.

The room gets really hot in the night and had to open the door but realised that there were spiders outside so decided to sleep just as is. The room definitely needs a touch up.
The staff are welcoming and a convenient location.

No hooks or hangers for the clothes - I used the second bed for this. If that was occupied, you'd need to put everything onto the floor. Hotel could do with fresh lick of paint outside.
Friendly staff, big bathroom and excellent shower, amazing breakfast (for this type of accommodation), nice reception and common room, all clean

Nothing - more information about late check in would have been appreciated as it was a little stressful
The location was great we only stayed for a few hours 1am -5am as we were on our way to the eurotunnel. It was very basic but it was clean and tidy

Not enough pillows. Electrical sockets in wrong place USB not working. Terrible dinner. Poor breakfast ingredients.
The had plenty of table top to put baggage. Really liked having a bath. Comfortable bed.

Some traffic noise and room a bit tired but OK.
Got there late but still got a cooked dinner which was nice. Room adequate (neighbours a bit noisy but not hotels fault) good stop over.

Needs to be maintained. No harm to paint the exteriors otherwise hotel will rot away
Nice setup, but not as good as shown on photos. No pie at breakfast. Personnel very friendly though.

Needs definitely renovation. You didnt feel that was so clean at all,specially the bathroom had many signs of dirtiness. The guy in reception although that welcomed us with smile and was friendly, didnt speak english at all so we were communicating with body language.
Is next to big main street,so you can easy reach Lillle or Lens. Was quite place with not external noises at all.

My ground floor rooms was reached around the back with no signage. Hard to find. A very loud alarm went off around 2am for ten minutes waking the whole block up - think it was on the next door industrial estate so bear in mind it might not be the quietest place
I usually stay at a Premiere Classe motel - for the extra ten or so euros this was SO much better: nice to stay in a room that doesn’t look like it’s designed to be hosed down between guests. Appreciated the proper duvet and bed linen (as opposed to dubious coverlet), large bathroom with actual bath, nice smelling citrusy shower gel, good lighting, USB charge points above bed. Very secure room for female travellers. Charming receptionist/manager at checkin
