temporarily,nothing to eat in the evening. i understand they have had a problem in the kitchen, while waiting to get that back into service, they could offer a selection of cold food for those who don’t want to find a restaurant.

Lack Information about the lack of Kitchen and therefore no meals which was the reason for going ( it was a place my late wife and I love and I may have canceled if known prior to departure. This was a real let down on arrival. But I made the most of what was on offer

We were looking forward to delicious evening meals but unfortunately restaurant was closed due to a fire. We brought in our own cold snacks and staff laid a table for us and were very attentive.

Comfortable rooms , spacious sitting areas. Nice bar area and beautiful gardens and surroundings. Our second stay here . Friendly helpful staff.

We stayed in one of a large number of "cottages" in the grounds rather than in the main chateau; this wasn't obvious to us when we booked. So it didn't really feel like we were staying at the chateau. Inside the room was in reasonably good condition, and clean, but outside the cottages could do with some TLC / painting / weeding / general maintenance. It was a very humid night when we stayed, and there was no safe way of leaving a window open which wouldn't attract possibly unwelcome attention.

The location is great, convenient for the Boulogne area. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast OK. The grounds of the chateau are beautiful.

Sadly there was no restaurant because they had a kitchen fire some time ago. We had booked breakfast but cancelled when we saw meagre fayre in offer. Visit to local boulangerie was more enjoyable.

Beautiful chateau with individual bedrooms and suites in purpose built blocks. Very large accommodation that felt quite homely rather than a hotel. Huge bed. Lovely gardens for relaxing.

A recent fire in the kitchen has left them without their very good restaurant. Best check if it has reopened before booking.

It is a beautiful building. We had a suite in an annex that was really good: great bed and pillows, great bathroom. They have two EV Chargers. Breakfast was very good.

I think there were not enough staff for breakfast and dinner. The dining/breakfast area felt cramped. And the buffet breakfast did not work well. There was not enough space for the various food and drink offerings.

The staff all worked well and our evening meals were good. Reception and bar staff were nice and helpful. The hotel and grounds are lovely and we were blessed with warm, sunny weather.

The staff on Sunday were not welcoming or helpful the girl went out to smoke with a man every half hour not at reception when we arrived and the bar was not manned when we went for drink. Disappointing not restaurant open on Sunday after a long drive no snacks in the bar. The staff on Monday were excellent friendly helpful and efficient . A big difference.

Room 22 could have more light. It was a little too dark but agreable.

A beautifull old building with a lot of charm. Comfortable bedroom with a lot of space. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner and enjoyed the delicious food. The chef knew in advance that my husband could not eat gluten and accomodated his needs. A really enjoyable stay.
