A pleasant travel experience is shaped by many factors, and the hotel is definitely one of the most important. Our trip to Paris and the decision to stay at this hotel turned out to be a great choice. We happened to arrive during a heatwave, and after long walks and fully enjoying the city, coming back to a cool, quiet, modern, and tech-savvy hotel room felt like a true delight. The room was beautifully designed, super comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. The self-check-in system at reception is very convenient. There's also a bar open until 1 a.m., which is perfect if you arrive late in the evening. Breakfast is available for an additional fee. The room itself is well-equipped and everything can be controlled via tablet – lighting, temperature, blinds, and even the TV. The bed is large with clean linens, a soft mattress, fluffy pillows, and a cozy blanket. Thanks to the climate control system, the temperature was always just right. The bathroom was spotless and came with toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There were also big, soft towels. Daily cleaning is available upon request. A large window offered a beautiful view, and the room was extremely quiet. The blackout system allowed for complete darkness, which was great for taking a nap during the day. There’s also a TV and a safe in the room. We chose a small room, but it was perfectly sufficient for two people — everything is designed efficiently and with comfort in mind. The hotel lobby has cozy seating areas where you can relax or work, and there’s also a terrace. The design throughout the hotel is modern and stylish. You can leave your luggage after check-out and explore the city before heading off — this service is free of charge. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Complimentary drinking water is available at the bar and can be taken to your room — a huge bonus during hot days. The hotel fits perfectly into the design and atmosphere of the La Défense district.

I didn’t like how the sink was out of the bathroom and toilet.

I love how you could easily control the temp, lights and curtains with just an iPad! Super convenient, they also care about the environment, which I admire! I loved pillows and the bed!! Made my night very easy. the location is really good because there’s an easy access to the metro and restaurants and a mall close by.

Great location just in front of the Defence Arena's main entrance, beautiful design, the room is pretty small but you have all the facilities, very modern service, excellent lighting, amazing view - you can choose the prefered one, very good breakfast, very close to the Defence metro station, the nearby shopping center and the Defence Arch.

Great location in Nanterre, directly opposite of the La Defense Arena. We had a room with an amazing view towards the arch (ask for it, no surcharge). Just a view minutes to walk to the metro station M1 with direct connection to down town Paris. Very friendly personnel. Just a bit tricky to drive there by car since many roads are new or redirected in that neighborhood. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Excellent value for money. Only restaurants close by are not that good, not hotels fault. Eat downtown…

The best hotel I can afford with great hi-tech experience, reasonable price, delicious breakfast and very friendly staff (especially girl from Ireland). From now on I will choose only CitizenM hotels if possible.
