The room is on the first floor but the fridge is in the entrance on the ground floor. It would be difficult to do anything more than simple self-catering as the kitchen area is a breakfast bar with microwave, kettle and coffee maker with washing up having to be done in the adjacent bathroom sink.

Good location midway between Avignon and Villeneuve. The place has rustic charm and Babette is charming. Large bed and spacious bedroom. The pool was a decent size for a one room rental and surprisingly deep.

The location was a little further from the city centre than I imagined, but that turned out OK.

Babeth was a wonderful host and made a very commendable effort to make us comfortable and be helpful.

Babeth doesn't speak much English, but we got by with our poor French, Google translate, hand gestures and smiles.

A warm welcome by the host Babeth. She's obviously put a lot of effort into making the room homely and thought of everything you'd need. The pool is a bonus, particularly on a hot day, as were the homemade brownies. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. Villneuve les Avignon is a beautiful and historic place, well worth spending time exploring, as is Avignon itself.

An ideal studio for a 2 or 3 night stay in Avignon.

The ventilation in the bathroom could have been better but given the type of building it might not be easy to do. We opened the bathroom window but that allowed some small ants to come in.

babeth allowed us to park our large car in the grounds for added security and for free. We requested the breakfast and it was delivered with fresh fruit and bread. The reception and flexibility of Babeth were welcome. The location was in a quiet area but some restaurants were only a few minutes walk while the centre of Avignon was 15 - 20 minutes away on foot.
