I love the setting, the hosts and the French toasts! It's an easy drive to WWII sites and Calais and Dunkirk. It was great that they accepted my little dog too.

What can I say, this place was beautiful and peaceful. Jonathan was the most beautiful host and always smiling. From the moment we meet I saw a person that cares for his guests and making them feel welcome. We arrived an hour early my own mistake forgot the time.. The hosts were so was understanding and accommodating Jonathan was so hopeful to still show us around before hand Then we went to one of the supermarkets all very near by just to top up for a couple of days ..We didn't visit the town looks ok but not alot open ( which was like many we drive through ?) The breakfast was amazing and all fresh. The best french toast we have ever had. yummy We stayed two nights before our trip home to the uk . We went to Dunkirk museum and dunes for a day then a spontaneously a trip to burge only an hours drive . We had dinner and shopping. So location was perfect and amazing . The bedrooms are stunning and the grounds. My own Dog settled in well . This Place deserves more stars..xxxx Highly recommend this beautiful place it is so close to calais and a great sleep before moving on for the next journey.

I would say just to have an instruction manual for guests how to work things and a list of dos and do note will help guests and have an understanding. I love a bath and couldn't have one as others had stollen them plug which is sad.for this to happen Look at getting ones then attach. maybe will help. Also maybe some soft pillows for some beds The TV didn't always work and cutting out on us the screen was strange ? and couldn't use the lamp near TV as only one switch ? Overall Your doing a fantastic job and hopefully we will visit again .

Wonderful! Clean , nice breakfast.very well renovated mediavel castle. host is really friendly. One of the best places for group or couple activities. 10/10 recommended

Setting is pretty. Animals are cute and friendly. Accommodation is good. Owner is friendly. The town itself is not very nice.

Need to request breakfast 24 hours in advance. No entry (gates locked) before 1700, and the town is not very nice at all, so nowhere to stop for coffee etc. So don’t get there early.

What an amazing place the calm and stillness is amazing slept like a baby

Wonderful hotel to spend the night at. We stayed on our way to the UK due to it's close proximity to Le Tunnel. The bedroom was very comfortable and breakfast was great.

Beautiful location with great host. Host is offering all support needed in a very friendly way. Breakfast with local ingredients was very nice also.

Château le Withof is a lovely hidden place just outside the town of Bourbourg. We booked the 6-person/ 3 bedroom guest house on the grounds and it did not disappoint. The host and family have clearly put a lot of love and attention into renovating the Chateau and we had an incredibly pleasant stay. For dinner the host recommended "Au Cloche" restaurant in the town center (you have to book) which was one of the best meals we have had on our trip, which was only 15-20mins walk away. I have a feeling we will be coming back to stay, if we find ourselves in France again.

Everything was perfect

Breakfast was stupendous! There were a lot of attention and care in all aspects, food quality and presentation, decoration and overall peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It felt we were in a world apart, where people care about you, they are attentive to you and your needs. Eric and Jo were fabulous hosts discreet and yet super efficient and caring. We loved the pain perdus, they were as good as my grandmother's ones. I have food allergies, they did not dismiss them on the contrary. It was the perfect long weekend, just what we all needed. Thank you!

Having to leave! it was relaxing, calm and we were pampered, it was so hard to leave.

A beautifully restored 13th century castle. Breakfast was also incredible.

Wonderful friendly hosts, loads of space and our own little house with a fully equipped kitchen and best of all, an amazing selection of gorgeous rescue animals to brighten your day! We took advantage of the nearby supermarket and had a lovely meal in and they had thought of everything.

We had a truly wonderful visit to Château Withof in Bourbourg! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and elegance of this beautiful place. The château itself is stunning, with its picturesque architecture and beautifully maintained surroundings, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. Our host was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The breakfast was fresh, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start the day. From freshly baked pain perdu to quality local ingredients, every bite was a delight. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a unique place to stay, Château Withof is an absolute gem. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Position not great and expected to stay in a nicer main room, disappointed.

Where it was and the owner was lovely. Piggy was lovely and all the other animals

It’s was not warm enough for this time of year. Towels very worn and didn’t smell good.

A very warm welcome, very nice owners, good conversations and plenty of laughter!

Beautiful building, thoughtfully restored, very friendly owners and fantastic breakfast. Well equipped facilities - would have been nice to stay for longer.

Jonathan made us feel immediately welcome. we loved hearing about the redevelopment of Chateau Withof and their plans for the future
