Very grand!! We were welcomed on arrival and thanks to the earlier check in we were able to relax and enjoy the chateau experience. Dinner was delicious and served in the courtyard restaurant.

The scrambled eggs were cold in the breakfast. I wish they would have had tablecloths on the outside tables and had them set up for breakfast instead of just inside.

Mattias was the most amazing help! He carried my heavy luggage from the car up the winding staircase and lifted it even on to the luggage rack in my amazing room. He came out to the pool when I couldn't unlock its gate. He was friendly and kind. I loved my room! I loved everything about it.

The menu choices for the fine dining experience were limited and we only dined there 1 night of 3.

Location was good for touring the region by car. For the cost of the stay the breakfast was a little limited but adequate.

The castle's rooms present a challenge in cool, humid weather. A wider selection of menu items would have been appreciated.

The quiet and somewhat remote location in a valley in the foothills of the Pyrenees in a wonderful well maintained castle. A location perfect for exploring the 'pays des cathares' with its breaktaking castle ruins and museums.. The room in a historic setting. The swimming pool in the castle gardens. The fine dining at reasonable prices. The exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

Internet connection didn’t work. I didn’t twig that breakfast was in addition to the room.

I was double charged. I had already paid on Booking.com and when we checked out, I was asked to pay again. I did so, because I thought my wife had booked the room, but I looked later and it was me. I had a receipt. Now, I have two receipts for the same stay. I would like to be refunded. Thanks.

The room, three castle, the staff were all fantastic! An exceptional place to stay. We would have loved miss time. The staff were super helpful and accommodating, helping us with whatever we needed.

We were not aware that there was a pool on the premises. It may be helpful that the staff in the restaurant know how to communicate in English and the menu items translated in English.

Breakfast was great. Lots of choices. Room was perfect. Nice view from our window and we can hear the river in the night.

Staying at Château Des Ducs De Joyeuse was truly a unique experience! This luxury hotel beautifully blends its medieval and Renaissance influences with contemporary amenities. We especially enjoyed dining at the gourmet restaurant, La Cour des Ducs, which added to the charm of our stay. Everything about this place was enchanting, and we loved every moment there! Highly recommended for anyone seeking something special.

The upgrade was appreciated but the aircon is not effective in the large room to which we were upgraded. (heritage restrictions on mounting of aircon units). Errors in dining bill. Always good to check these things. Mistakes happen but can be a nasty surprise.
