The open concept bathroom, which is private to room but not to occupants, and that you advertise it has a restaurant, which it does not.

The pool area and quietness. The size of our room.

The room would benefit from increased electrical outlets. An outlet expander/extension at bedside would be particularly helpful. The only outlet next to the bed was occupied by the needed bedside light, whereas I wanted to leave my mobile phone charging there overnight and to use as an alarm. Note that this is not a disability-friendly property, given it's a chateau. Lots of stairs and a bit of a hike from the parking, which is gravel so not the easiest to navigate a rolling suitcase.

I did not eat the breakfast although I did have dinner which I reserved in advance because meals are provided by an outside catering service (which itself could have done better than serving boeuf bourguignon in a round drinking-glass-style vessel which made it impossible to properly use a knife and fork unless you dumped it out on a plate). Dinner was an okay value of lettuce and duck gizzard salad (very nice), the boeuf bourguignon (nothing special), and a lime-infused whipped mascarpone with red berry coulis (nice) for €25. The waitress recommended local wine Roumegnac which did not disappoint. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nothing short of stunning--large glass walk-in shower with a very nice showerhead, lovely huge beige stone tiles, a charming freestanding bowl sink. Featured a hair dryer and towels, of course, but oddly there was no towel bar next to sink for a hand towel. Minor issue to be sure. A bar of hand soap and an all-purpose gel in the shower are the sole toiletries provided. (And I didn't realize the gel dispenser wasn't working until I was already in the shower; it took some doing, but eventually I managed to fix it.) I was really pleased that they let me bring my little dog and we were just one flight up which meant it was easy to duck out to walk her a few times. Overall, staff were very friendly and helpful, eager to please, and tried to speak as much English as they could manage for me, which I very much appreciated.

Spiral staircase, facilities are starting to show the need for maintenance

The spiral staircase is our rooms were difficult to climb and descend and the bathroom being on the bottom down both flights of the spiral staircase was a little difficult if you wanted to visit in the middle of the night. The meal was lovely and hosts were nice and welcoming.

I think Spartan sums it up. Massive walls painted white and bare. Few ornaments and not welcoming. The entrance hall feels very empty. It’s as if the owners are moving out and have already packed. It’s not like a chateau. Nowhere to sit to admire the view. I think it’s more a conference centre than a hotel.

The grounds are lovely and the pools look great, although we didn’t use it as it was a bit chilly. Breakfast nice and in the most attractive room in the building.

Room was supposed to have a pool view, did not. No screens on the windows so lots of bugs. Despite website assurances no restaurant and very little in the area. Ended up getting a pizza.

Breakfast as fine. Pool was nice. Parking a long way away but staff accommodated us.

No air-conditioning in rooms and very limited services (restaurant is closed for the summer which we knew about but no drinks, water etc. available after 6pm as reception appears to close). Advise bringing your own water and snacks

Beautiful location, setting and clean stylish rooms. Pool and grounds were fabulous, clean and breakfast was amazing. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, genuinely delighted we chose this as a stop travelling from north to south of France.
