It would have been great if there were more food options within the chateau for during the day! Not necessarily a restaurant meal just some more substantial snacks given the nearest supermarket is several kilometres away and unless you have your own car it takes time to organise a taxi.

The Chateau and grounds were breathtaking! We had such a delightful time exploring the area, went on a bike ride with the fabulous e-bikes available and had an amazing 4 course dinner at the on site restaurant! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was delightful and bed was very comfortable.

We weren’t made aware prior to attending that the restaurant gets full! There was no option for us for dinner and no alternative offered. Luckily we had snacks with us, but not ideal! The watermelon at breakfast was off! The rooms were unbelievably hot with two fans, it was out of the ordinary weather, but the solution wasn’t very adequate

The setting was magical! The property is beautiful and the room was high spec and fitted the whole family beautifully. Breakfast was a lovely setting! And seeing wild otters perfect!!

Our room was small with no TV, fridge or facilities to make drinks. It was on the third floor with no lift.

Some rooms could do with a little extra paintwork maintenance to make them truly exceptional, and as it is such an old property - altogether a wonderful stay.

We loved wonderful decor and comfortable large family suit. The staff are very friendly. In the middle of a large 65 hectares property, with many paths for walks through nature. Very good breakfast and dinner. There are apparently a couple of children attractions nearby, which we will check out next time. Can't wait to be back.

There could be a lot more activities for guests, given the vast land and more ways to stay engaged at the property. The self service bar was very limited for soft drinks and general management of it, lots of dishes laying around.

One slight negative the heating & hot water appeared to be on a timer.We stayed in February & heating really needed to be on all the time ,suspect the radiators were also undersized for the rooms.

Beautiful building & grounds .A really nice restoration, respecting the original character but with modern touches thrown in ! Restaurant was also great we had the 7 course taster and it was delicious . Resident / owners cat is adorable!

Second time we visited and we were once more very well received. We also had a small guide in the form of the chateau's cat who walked us to and from our car a few times. The room was more than spacious enough, the bathroom very luxurious. Breakfast was fresh and amazing. The view of course was breathtaking as well.

Everything about this property was delightful. I want to go back and stay longer. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There are walking paths around the property with ponds and we saw a beaver swimming. The sitting rooms were comfortable and there was wine and coffee.

We had a problem with our shower flooding the room as it wasn’t draining well and this had clearly happened before as the beautiful parquet floor was stained.

Beautiful location and lovely walks around the property in the Chateau’s land. Breakfast was very good indeed. The chateau was beautiful inside and out.

Need a better menu description of what is/was on offer in the restaurant. Not just 7course menu etc etc. need a path to the restaurant from the main building. Grass and high heels not a good match.

The only thing I could mention in the whole of the stay, was the lack of tea / coffee in the room, but this was made up for with an honesty bar on the main floor( we were told to help yourself and make a note of what you had )

A beautiful Chateau set in a stunning location, from the moment we arrived, Betty and team were so accommodating and helpful, the instructions, were to use it like your home. The restaurant was quite spectacular, with the team ( including 4 chefs) taking care of your requests. A wonderful place and we look forward to making a return visit 👍😀
