How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

As others have said, the road in front of the place is VERY busy--but only during the day. At night, it was the complete opposite, nearly no one on it. So it's really only bothersome during the day; I left the windows and shutters closed, which blocks a lot of the noise, but of course, not all the noise. The "closet" space is rather small. It would also be nice to have a small table for putting the luggage or other items. Again, none of these are major items, and I would happily stay here again :)
Jessie was super friendly and communicated very well. The place is perfectly located for those (like me) traveling by train, as it's about a 5 min walk. There's also an excellent boulangerie just a few doors down from the apartment. The shower was very nice and spacious, washing machine worked great, having an oven was super convenient for cooking, and the building itself was very calm (i.e. rarely heard any neighbors going in/out, etc). Access to the building and apartment is very easy, and having a ground floor apartment is always appreciated. Oh and it's also super close to the Valrhona Chocolate Museum, which is very worth the visit!

At night, the noise from the street was disturbing (cars) and made it difficult to fall asleep.
The studio was well furnished, clean, and excellent value for money

No real disadvantages to mention as everything was perfect. Maybe the only point to mention is the slightly busy road where the studio located.
The studio is very charming, tastefully furnished and well equipped. Also everything was very clean. The studio also had a well functioning airconditioning system which was very welcome as we stayed in the summer period with hot weather. The bed was also very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and spacious. The host is a friendly person and the communication was pleasant. To conclude the accommodation is highly recommended.

Lovely modern studio. Tastefully renovated and with all the facilities you could hope for. Very close to Tain shops, restaurants and Valrhona Chocolat factory. An easy and beautiful walk across to Tournon. Jessie was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

Because it’s located in a Main Street, the traffic noise can be a challenge for light sleepers
New renovated. You have all you need and the location is very near to the city center.

A check in time of 5pm is later than you would expect especially as check out time is 10am however the hosts accomodated an earlier check in time for me to leave my suitcase in the apartment.
The hosts were in contact with me before and throughout my stay to and helped me by facilitating a partial early check in to leave my case on the premises. They also helped with my transport questions. The standard of interior design is high and the bed very comfortable. All facilities are new and super clean. The property is very good value and just a short walk from the very nice train station and to the river and bridges

Soaps were all empty. The shower was simply cold, whereas the water in the sink was piping hot. Highlighted this to the owner, apparently somebody got sent when we were out, but it wasn’t fixed. Could be a boiler issue, or the owners cap the temperature on the shower… Even though the rest of the apartment was great, one of the vital basics was missing. After a long journey we were longing for a nice shower, which in the end wasn’t possible.
Clean property on a good location, comfortable bed with AC

The biggest problem. The flat is on the ground floor just next to a very busy main road. Sooo it is indeed suuuper noisy all day and all night.
The little apartement was cozy and comfortable, there was everything one would need. We’ve parked at the nearby train station as there was no other parking space available close to the flat, but that was also totally fine.

It was quite small, on a main road with traffic so we didn’t want the window open. With no outside space it felt claustrophobic. Also parking was a problem. You needed a blue disc and we were told there was one in the flat. There wasn’t. So we contacted the owner who said it wasn’t up to her to provide one. But we thought, having offered one and not warned us, it was. She said she’d bring one in the morning but we didn’t hang around and were off by 8.30 the time permits were needed. A depressing stay. Not recommended.
It was brand new and everything worked. It was near a square with restaurants.
