It was wonderful stay at Damien’s house. Hidden among the nature , this beautiful house is an oasis of peace and calmness. Damien and his family are very nice. They manage the structure in the best way. Rooms are quite big with jacuzzi, cleaning is exceptional. It’s very quiet in the night and safe. There are a lot to do and to see in the surroundings and Damien can recommend a lot of restaurants nearby. But also you can try the best dishes from very famous chef directly at Damien’s house . We had wonderful time and would like to come back soon!

Everything was perfect.

The property is quiet area outside Axis en Provence but close enough to the city. The grounds were very well maintained and the rooms were nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable and clean.

We had the most incredible stay at Damien and his families property! First, they are some of the nicest and accommodating people that you will ever meet and you can tell they take great pride in the experience they’ve created. The room was spacious, clean and well-designed with so many unique features throughout to ensure our comfort - like a jacuzzi, air conditioning, tv streaming, a speaker and several ways to light the room. We were amazed when we first walked in, and the room was refreshed every day to feel like new. Since the room was so comfortable we decided to order dinner in one night which was such a fun and special experience. They work with a Michelin star chef and the food was fantastic. One of the best meals we had in France! We also enjoyed breakfast in the garden which was a great way to start the day. The property is so stunning. We highly recommend staying here and visiting some nearby villages like Lourmarin and St. Remy. Staying here as a home base is a great way to experience Provence as the locals do. Damien mentioned that the chateau was the families shared passion, and it’s felt from the moment you step in. We can’t wait to be back again!

Damian was away on business. Although he was totally available on what’s app and FaceTime, it would have been a pleasure to meet him in person. But really everything was fantastic! I would not change a thing.

Amazing! The property and owners are very special! The time spent at the property was like being with family —in a good way. It is very private, yet we felt well taken care of all the time. We will make it a point to return.

The only complaint we had was the breakfast - if you want breakfast it is Euro39 per person for what we can only describe as a feast but actually a lot more food than we could eat. It is served in your private area which takes the owners time, hence the charge is for a combination of the volume of food & work that goes into it & we understand this but there is no choice. We feel it would be better if an alternate option was available of a simple continental breakfast served on the communal terrace.

We loved the the whole ambience of the hotel - beautiful location, great decor, lovely family who own it.

Honestly one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. Everything about the room and the service was exceptional. The tranquility of the location, set next to a field of lavender. The design and cleanliness of the room with its own jacuzzi. The beautifully landscaped gardens with a good sized pool. A family-run hotel, Damien and his parents were attentive but not intrusive. We had a traditional French breakfast with great coffee and the 3-course meal we had, menu designed and prepped by a local Michelin-starred chef, was exquisite. Very highly recommended, we will most certainly be back.

The dictionary doesn't contain enough adjectives to describe Les Chambres Romantiques à Aix! My husband and I had the most perfect stay in the Notre suite L'Aixcellence suite. We spent time around the pool and time exploring the surrounding areas. You only have to cross the path to walk through the most beautifully cared for lavender field. Recommend you spend a night on the outside bed starring at the millions of stars. I cannot give enough praise to Damien and his parents for taking such wonderful care of us both. Their warmth and genuine concern that your stay is comfortable and everything you expected is exceptional. I would highly recommend experiencing the breakfast and dinners offered. Thank you and we look forward to our return visit.

Our regret : we only had one night there.

The bedroom is absolutely gorgeous with a lovely design. we had a really beautiful bedroom with a private outdoor garden. Really nice bathroom with a jacuzzi. The pool is amazingly comfortable, offering a serene experience with very few people around due to the limited number of rooms—only five in total. The outdoor furnishings are both comfortable and beautiful, enhancing the overall experience.

Softer sun beds ;) Unfortunately there was a little trouble with the electric car charging. So it’s important you have your car charged before arrival. We were missing the staff service one night out of 6. But it was suddenly we stayed home that night. So no hard complain, just a reminder. and they of course apologised the day after ☀️

Amazing place. Amazing stay. And SUCH an amazing family. Perfect for a hotel stay with full privacy but also perfect for a romantic weekend getaway with full service, from the always helpful owners. Nothing else than a wonderful and memorable stay. The room was top! We had a jacuzzi in our room, and that was the icing on the cake. Beautiful view of lavenders and the French Provence. Absolutely lovely quality of everything from equipment to furnitures. Dinner was GREAT, home cooked and wonderful tasting, with Provence herbs from the garden. They even made lovely vegan special meals for me. Which is very much appreciated! Lovely breakfast as well 🙏🏼🪻 My partner, from America and I, from Europe would love to go again

We never write reviews but we're making an exception to encourage you to stay at Les Chambres Romantiques in Aix-en-Provence if you plan to be in that area. Our spacious room was beyond beautiful and exceptionally clean. Our host Damien made sure that every one of our needs was met, from providing a steak dinner our first night (cooked by his mom) to recommending itineraries for the area. We can’t speak highly enough about our stay at their small, 5-room hotel. Staying there was one of the highlights of our two-week trip to France. For the sophisticated and experienced traveler looking for a romantic hospitality setting. You'll struggle to find a more refined experience in a beautifully remote setting with flowering grounds than Les Chambres Romantiques. The newly constructed rooms with high end finishes offers guests spacious accommodations coupled with a luxurious jacuzzi in your room. The queen bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedding was sumptuous. Damien made us dinner reservations one evening and we were greeted by the restaurant owner saying I've reserved a special table for you. The owner came over to our table multiple times to make sure everything was just right. It’s exceptionally rare that we leave from a hotel experience and say that was quite a value and worth far more than the daily rate.

Nothing!! Everything was exceptional and we can’t wait to return.

The property is beautiful and in a great location. The rooms have all the amenities and details of a 5 star resort. The bed was comfortable and provided some of the best sleep we had on trip. Damien and his family were wonderful host and prepared meals for each day that would rival any gourmet restaurant. He also accompanied us on a tour of Aix which was one of the highlights of our trip. We rode bicycles through the area and just had an unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful vacation at Les Chambres Romantiques! For our April vacation, we wanted a calm, clean and beautiful place with nature scenery in the Aix en Provence area. Les Chambres Romantiques is exactly that! This is a small, family owned and operated business and you can feel they put their hearts and effort into creating a unique, high-end experience for their guests. Corinne and Damien live on the property and were very kind in helping us with everything we needed throughout our stay. The room was spacious, very clean and beautifully designed (we had a chance to see the other rooms and they were all very high-end with a modern, fresh feel). The Jaquzzi in the room is a huge plus, with high quality robes and towels. They have an outside pool with greenery all around. Note that you do need a car to travel around the region and to get to city center and back. You should also pay attention to the check-in time as the room are meticulously prepared for each guest (there is no lobby as again, this is a private property) I would absolutely recommend this place if quality and authentic experience is what you are after!

Hard to say how was the stay, since we were blocked outside the property by the owner due to early arrival. A rude person, insulting and totally unprofessional. After being rudely rejected and accused of lying, we renounced to our stay and gladly went to another place. No refund and close to two thousand euros lost for my worst experience in years of travelling and stays in many hotels of various categories.

i got hurt and harassed by the owner of the place. went to the police station about it got video if anyone wants to see what happened in this horrifying morning just because of 15 euro argument. i got grabbed by the owners mom and tried to push me off the floor. i’m still in shock. more pictures will be posted once i get to the hospital for a full check up.
