We absolutely loved our stay here. The property and grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool was an added bonus. The property is in effect a small chateau with lovely gardens, surrounded by woodland. It is close to a major route (which makes it convenient for a stopover) but is nonetheless quiet. Everything we needed was provided in our room (including fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle). Great breakfast provided in the room with a selection of fresh bread delivered in the morning. Lovely host - welcoming, friendly and she looked after us very well.

There was nothing to not like.

My wife and I stopped here for one night en route to Calais at the end of a touring holiday and wished all our stopovers had been this good. The house was full of old world charm, it was beautifully maintained, the breakfast was delicious and the whole impressed us so much we’re planning a return in the very near future.

Beautiful building, lovely grounds with a great collection of Roses. The room has the best air conditioning we've ever come across. The pool was just what was needed after riding our motorbikes all day. Silvie and her mum were great hosts, and even found a dry place for the bikes when a storm hit.

There is nothing to dislike!!!!

Everything , this place is truly exceptional! The location,the house,the gardens ,the woods,the rooms,the welcome,the host,the dogs,the food. The whole of our stay has been made very pleasent by Sylvie and her daughter and we will return to stay here again in the very near future but for longer next time. Magnifiqe, Tres Bien. Superb!!!. Thank you Sylvie for you wonderful hospitality.

Very Limited facilities …. Lock on bedroom door was difficult to use … missed having own on suite, but luckily had the use of a bathroom to myself due to limited guests stopping at the time of my 2 night stay. Property could be very difficult to find if you arrive in the dark.

Good location for my business trip, ie close to facility, and super quiet on an evening.

Nothing to fault

Fantastic setting, very friendly welcome, great hospitality and lovely room. We booked this as an overnighter to break up or journey home but wish we could have stayed longer. Much better value than the nearby hotel which cost as much and provided less.

A beautiful house with a wonderful, heavily oak-beamed, attic apartment. Superb grounds, large garden and excellent heated swimming pool. Entrance just before the Brit Hotel if heading south - look out for the sign by the high gates.

Breakfast was ok although did not include fresh baguette, croissants, fresh juice and cereals. For 10 Euro's per person we expected more.

Lovely Host, very welcoming. Super large room with lots of character, safe parking for our motorbikes. Nice family run beautiful Mansion house and grounds. Sylvie even offered to drive us to the nearby town for evening meal and pick us up afterwards as we did not want to put all our motorcycle gear on to go out for the evening. We decided to walk as it was only 15 minutes.....nice offer though.

Stay wasnt long enough!!. Nothing here we did not like.

A very warm welcome. Hospitality was amazing, even gave us some homegrown fruit. The place is amazing set in 25 hectacres of land. Fantastic room and a wonderful breakfast that is served to your room. Had a walk in the evening in the woods that surround this place, peaceful, tranquil. Would highly reccommend this place. Cannot wait to return.

The house si very beatiful. You feel like in a fairytale when you are chez Sylvie. It is clean, very comfortable and Sylvie makes you feel like home. I would highly recommend it. Moreover, the price is so reasonable.

The house and gardens are beautifully kept. The swimming pool was very welcoming after a long drive. The rooms in the top floor were charming with high ceilings and plenty of space. One has the feeling one is in the countryside despite the town being close by. Sylvie is a very pleasant host, very attentive and helpful.

Nothing- it was lovely. Even air con in our room, which in 30 degree heat made sleeping easy!!

Oh!!! So much to like. Lovely pool and Manoir house and best of all Sylvia! She. Oils not have been more welcoming or helpful.

Stairs were steep, showers too low and a lot of noise from passing traffic/building works.

it was a 'do it yourself' breakfast which meant we could take our time in the morning. The room and the separate bathroom were huge and nice and warm. The location is great - just off the main road but you felt as if you were in the countryside. We would have liked more time to explore this lovely place.

Lacking in character

A little hard to find , well outside the town it was functional...clean etc., but a little lacking in character. I think it was a convent in a previous life......it showed. Breakfast served in your room...not a problem and a good breakfast.
