Carole and her husband were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They made us relax straight away with their hospitality and amazing breakfast. The location is superb for the old town and the new. The swimming pool was a great bonus. I highly recommend.

Well located in a quiet spot just at the foot of the old medieval city and at a short walk from the buzzing new city of Carcassonne, this Guest House is really a must stay and enjoy place. The owners are very kind, breakfast is varied, the rooms are cosy and comfortable. We had a marvellous time.

Host was friendly and helpful. Pool was great. Location for both the medieval and modern cities was good - about 15-20 mins walk to each.

It would have suited us to have a kettle in the room, but coffee and tea were available on request, so this was not a major issue.

Very friendly host, excellent location, and a pool, which felt great after 12 hours drive. :) And breakfast, where you sit at the same table with other guests, with whom you can share thoughts was also a very nice experience.

This place is a little gem in a great location, with fabulous hosts! It’s really close to the town but peaceful and relaxing as well. The pool and shaded seating areas were very welcome in the extreme heat ! Carole has an honesty fridge with drinks and ice creams which is great for relaxing by the pool. She also recommended places to eat and visit which really helped. We would definitely stay again.

Carole is an extremely kind and attentive host. She is very keen that you enjoy your stay and is happy to advise on what to do in the area. The accommodation is very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent, setting you up for the day. The location is very quiet yet you are within easy walking of the main city attractions. If there is a market on - go to it. The pool is very welcoming and has plenty of shade available if you want and loads of loungers. We had a great 2 night stay.

Quiet place directly below the Cité with a very nice garden, veranda, and swimming pool. Carole is a wonderful host and served us a lovely breakfast.

Breakfast was good. A selection of breads, croissants, jams and local cheese. Eggs however you wanted them cooked. The room was good for 3 people, with a table and chair, and shower bathroom. Location to the medieval city was perfect and lots of eateries in walking distance. Nice and secure if you take the car too. Seems a good area.

would have been good to have a kettle and cups in the room as we wanted to take a drink before bed and first thing in the morning. You can get hot drinks but only when owner is available and we didnt want to bother them at the times we wanted our hot drink!

Location was excellent and very convenient. Carole was so helpful with transport to/from airport, restaurant recommendations and useful information. All facilities were first class. Breakfast very good and swimming pool a bonus.

Great place to stay to visit both the castle and the historic town, all on foot. Parking on site. Pool and garden accessible and in good nick, great for taking some time out and relaxing. And of course Carole the host, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Carole was the most wonderful host together with her husband Jose who attended to our every need throughout our week long stay, including getting us from and to the airport. Carole took time at the beginning of our stay to ensure any breakfast requirements were met and made suggestions of places to visit on a local map. It’s fair to say that the breakfast, including her famous scrambled eggs, was plentiful and fresh. Use of the pool was a great addition to the stay which allowed us to cool off after a long morning walk. The property is in a great location, handy for both the old and new cities within less than a 15 min walk. Local bars and restaurants offered us a range of dishes each evening. This is one place we definitely intend to visit again.

I can’t think of anything

This property was meticulously maintained, and beautifully decorated. The pool was huge and pristine. The property seemed exceptionally safe, despite its proximity to the medieval walled Cite of Carcassonne. Also loved the ‘Honesty Bar’, which allowed for a refreshing beverage at any time.

Carol is so friendly and care, she made our stay very easy and pleasant. The house is close to the old cite (literally just crossed the river and 5 minutes walk). Very good value for money. Strongly recommend to stay at least one night in Carcasson—walking in the old cite in the evening after all tourists left was amazing

Our host was great, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect being only a few minutes walk into both parts of Carcassonne. The outdoor pool and terrace was lovely. Breakfast was great too.

It was wonderful, the location was superb, perfectly located for the medieval city as well as the beautiful main town with its stylish shops and restaurants. The space around the accommodation was fabulous and the pool added to the experience.. We adored Carole the owner, she was such a kind, interesting and welcoming host, her knowledge of Carcassonne was endless, her breakfasts were great and overall she made our stay in her bed and breakfast perfect, Thank you
