Fridge didn't appear to be working. But not a huge problem

Fabulous location, couldn't be more central. Lovely view onto the harbour. Good communication, Wifi was down but we were offered an alternative, we chose to remain in this location for the view. Easy to follow instructions to find. They were slightly behind on cleaning the room, wasn't quite finished when we arrived but it was no major stress.

The stairs were quite steep and thin, which would not be best for people with mobility issues. On Friday night, there was some noise from the bars on the harbor, but that is not the fault of the host.

The host was very accommodating and flexible with the check in time. The view from the annex room was incredible - I loved watching the sun rise and set over the harbor. The bed and bathroom were comfortable and modern.

The apartment is very nice, well equipped, very central to Bayeux. Really nice and homely. Easy to park but instruction on how to find the location could be better.

    WONDERFUL LOCATION. Quirky old townhouse

All the stairs turn and are very steep. Room 4 at the top of the house is an attic room and is quite small. Inside the door to the room on level 2 is the very small shower room. The bedroom is up a further steep/turning staircase. The loo in the shower room (Room 4) is so close to the wall, it's not possible to sit straight on it - unless you're under 5'5".

Room 2 on the 1st floor is a good size, has a king bed and spacious shower room with separate loo.The location is wonderful just a few minutes walk to the harbour one way and even closer to the parking the other (€12 for 24hrs). We had no problems with noise from the street that some travellers have mentioned. The host's daughter was delightful and met us very shortly after a call to her on arrival.

Not to the fault of this property, but since it is so centrally located, parking can be difficult on weekends and days of public holidays. If you are coming on such days, just be prepared to spend a little time looking for parking.

The location was central with lots of nearby restaurants. The lady working here was very friendly and hospitable. I liked the small arrangements of tea/coffee and sweets in the room. The room was comfortable, cute, and had a nice bathroom.

Just a little problem with the payment because the confirmation reported not cash, so I thought by credit card, but really was only cash, so I had to withdraw money and pay the fees for a mistake that wasn't mine.

The room is located in the centre, it was big and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was big too, although it wasn't easy to use the shower, a few water for washing. A beautiful view over the Honfleur Port!

It would have been good to have a shelf in the bathroom to set your clothes on. Advice on restaurants a bit disappointing. Having to pay for the room in cash.

The hostess was very welcoming. I thanks for her patience and helping us. We had a room on the 4th floor, it was very cozy. We also had a kettle, tea and cookies. I really appreciate such small gifts. You can then feel yourself in a town of far Middle Ages. This house is so narrow and high that the staircase can be at an angle of 60 degrees. You definitely won’t come upstairs with big bags to the 2nd or 4th floor (we left ours on the first floor). And the bathroom is very small..I barely fit in there, but it was a very interesting experience.  In the morning, you will be able to hear how seagulls screech, ships are getting closer to the beach, the church rings, rain and you look at it from the highest floor of the old house to the town. It's romantic, isn't it? Also 100 meters (or less) there is parking for the car, we left it here. Parking per day will cost 10 euros.

There was a lunatic who raced up the road every night at 1am and woke me with the speed and noise. I think they were driving home from the restaurants. The echo of the road magnified all other noise also. It meant that I did not sleep properly for the 3 nights. It is not the problem of the owners but needs to be something they take into account as it detracts from the loveliness of the room.

The room and owner were lovely. The location was great.

The stairs leading up to the room are very steep and narrow and it wasn't easy carrying luggage up and down. Although there was a spacious wardrobe, some shelves would be a good addition. Several light bulbs needed replacing which made areas quite dark.

The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also a very good size and excellent layout. The room was cleaned and maintained very nicely each day.

A cute little hotel in the center of town.

Being an older building the stairs are steep and with all our luggage it was a challenge. But we enjoy a challenge. This was mid June and it is hot and humid in Honfleur. There was no AC or fan for the room but opening up the windows to the street was a good resolve. (Later on we found that we could have requested a fan.). The street noise is a little loud. Cars do drive this road to get out of the center of town. It seems that at 02:30 in the morning many people walk through and can be loud too.

This is a cute little hotel walking distance from the center of town. Easy to walk to and from. The hotel looks to be old and it was nicely renovated. This room is very nice as it has a split arrangement. The bath is set off little ways from the bedroom. Opening the bathroom window you can get a good cross breeze to cool the room. Daniela takes care of the hotel and she is very nice and helpful. We shopped at the market and had snacks in the refrigerator.

This not a chambre d'hote. No staff, we had to call a number and wait for the host who gave a quick tour and left. There was no communal area and breakfast was tea bags or coffee sachets and a couple of madeleines. The stairs were precarious.
