Exactly as described and perfect for our needs. Really quiet location. Beautifully renovated old farmhouse - very rustic and quaint. Gorgeous views to the back. Super clean. Amazing shower. Tasty breakfast with home made organic preserves. Best coffee we’ve had in France! It was lovely to be able to chat to other guests in such a tranquil setting. Amazing hands on host too who was very good company. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

We were a bit hot at night so removed the duvet inner.

The location is superb - we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Nicolas was very helpful in suggesting places to visit. Breakfast is simple but fresh and plentiful. And Calais is worth a visit! We were made to feel very welcome as was Bagel our dog! Thanks Nicholas

Super convenient from the ferry, lovely rural establishment in a cute village, happy friendly host who loves to make the effort to speak English and is very good! Tasty local and homemade produce served for breakfast, what more could we want! Wonderful :)

The day we stayed very few restaurants were open close by.

This is quite a quirky property, Nicolas the owner obviously likes older and traditional things. He restores old vehicles but by arresting and preserving the natural state rather than by bringing them up to new standard everywhere. This is also evident in his building renovation which is a cross between old, shabby chic and surprising. It may not be to everyone's taste, but it certainly appealed to us. Nicolas is a very interesting person with a slightly wicked sense of humour. The price is more than reasonable, the breakfast was great with fresh bread and pancakes cooked for us by Nicolas. The off street parking and the location was more than convenient for our ferry home on the next day.

Such a stunning apartment - very chic with excellent facilities. Overlooks a charming lake. Nicholas the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful . Quiet and well ventilated with great bed.

Great location for the Euro tunnel (20 minutes) and we were met by a friendly and enthusiastic host who showed us around the property. The room was clean and functional with a rustic feel and was ideal for our small dog with our entrance door adjacent to a large garden. It is keenly priced and we will definitely use this property again if in the area.

Nicolas was the perfect host. He made us very welcome, speaking excellent English and also allowing us to practise our French. The breakfasts were delicious, with a range of specialty breads from the local bakery and different homemade jams each day, as well as local apple juice, coffee, cheese, yogurt and a choice of pancakes and French Toast cooked freshly by Nicolas. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated with lovely comfortable beds. Each set of rooms had their own separate entrance, making them more like small gites rather than chambres d’hotes. The shower was very powerful with lovely hot water. Having use of the kitchen/ breakfast room was great and we enjoyed watching the view of the sunset over the lake. The location was great, with several good restaurants within walking distance.

Not much , really! Only sad we didn't have more time to explore and try some local restaurants.

The location could not have been better for the purpose intended which was a good night's sleep before crossing the eurotunnel and a long day of driving. Less than 20 minutes from the terminal, yet in a quiet and peaceful location with safe parking and some lovely walks for the dog. The room was larger than we thought from the pictures, and had everything we needed. Nicolas was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived, and we're looking forward to coming back in the future as we know we'll have a cosy night's sleep.

Nicolas was a wonderful host! The rooms were very comfortable and the decor was charming. The farmhouse has a rich history and it has been lovingly restored. The breakfast was excellent. Nicolas went above and beyond to accommodate us after I had an injury during one of our excursions. We highly recommend this B &B and hope to return next time.
