Staying at this place was one of the main highlights of our trip to France. We had an exceptional experience delving into the rich history of the house, which has been owned by the same family for hundreds of years. Additionally, the house offers all modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and delicious breakfasts!

On arrival the impression of the village is rather grim, with no character or amenities all rather disappointing. However when we arrived at the property, it was visually overwhelming and so historic. Greeted by Bruno & Anne a delightful, warm & friendly elderly couple, who are so chilled & caring. The property was built in 1731 and has pretty much remained as original. Some folks may not like it, no tvs, no bar or razzmatazz all very basic & charmingly therapeutic, we loved it, the ocation, the grounds, the architecture the history, the peace & quiet, everything was so uplifting & away from this hectic world. Anne is such a lovely host, spoiling us with home made cakes & jam. The location & quality of breakfast is superb, feeling like a pair of celebs. The history of the property us so interesting & has survived all the wars, uprisings & revolutions in tact, amazing. We met some of Bruno & Anne's daughters & grandchildren all who are delightful, engaging & warm. It was an amazing visit and intend to return to this place of wellness.

You have to get used to the basic but adequate facilities, hot water takes sometime to reach the taps, the floors creak & moan, but the furnishing & comfort is wonderful. If you prefer glitzy, high tech mod conns, plastic, stainless steel & bling, then this place is not for you. It is so period & of bygone days. Wonderfully.

The location is idyllic. The manor is set in peaceful, spacious grounds - plenty of trees, masses of hydrangeas, a pond... the interior is wonderfully authentic, not overdone, full of charm and peace. The owners could not be more welcoming and helpful. Delicious breakfast.
