How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

This was a great find - a lovely well-equipped apartment, with bedroom, kitchen/lounge and an outside seating area. A great coffee machine (from bean to cup!) and an excellent selection of cold meats/cheeses for breakfast. There's a bakery and a grocery close by, and it's an easy 1km walk into town. We would thoroughly recommend this place, it's convenient for a stop driving from Calais to Paris or further south in France. A friendly helpful host who lives next door.

Welcoming and friendly host. Safe storage for our e-bikes. Lovely room which had aircon. Super shower and very spacious room. Lovely outdoor communal terrace. Excellent breakfast included . Superb produce and a highlight of the stay. Excellent value for money

The gentleman owner was lovely and helpful. The studio just perfect with lots of food and drink left for us in the fridge. The location to the train station and the airport was fantastic.

Not much
Really good set up. Message the owner as you arrive and he comes to greet you. Shows your room and where the breakfast is available. Rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. Third visit need i say more.

The street outside was on a steep hill and the walk into town was 30 minutes plus. We recommend avoiding the local shopping centre which was in a rough area where we did not feel safe. Go direct to Beauvais city centre instead which was great.
Good host. Unusual but pleasant decor. Appreciated the sitting area on the patio..

Honestly, it was just a lovely place and I can't think of anything else that could be done to improve it.
The cute decor, well-appointed room, and lovely breakfast of bread, fruit, a charcuterie board, tea, coffee, jam, and butter tied a bow to the end of my experience in France. Even though I arrived at 9:00 p.m., I was greeted at the door with a key, shown the room, given plenty of space to unwind. There was shampoo and soap in the shower, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. I slept well. The windows had room-darkening blinds, so that helped as well, since I was there in summer, and the days began before 5 a.m. and ended after 10 p.m.

Beautifully decorated, spacious, well equipped studio within walking distance of airport and centre of Beauvais. Lovely breakfast - plentiful and varied. Would love to have spent more than one night there. The centre of Beauvais is well worth a visit.

Some cereals for adults such as granola

Nothing really! The hotel could be a little hard to find if you weren't using a map application.
The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was really nice, the photos didn't do it justice! The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great, fresh bread, cold meats, cheese, cereal and yoghurt all available.

Small thing-couldn’t get any English subtitles on the tv so practiced some French, quite a mix of decor fine for me!
