One very minor point is that to access and view the rear garden, you have to be accompanied by the host which we didn't feel comfortable to inconvenience them but it is understandable as they have exotic birds [peacocks]. If we stay again we will ask in advance so they can expect to show us there beautiful land.

The accomodation here is superb! We had to leave another accomodation at short notice and found ourselves without a place to stay for one night and this accomodation came to the rescue and not only did it rescue us but we adored our stay here and it is exactly the type of place we would usually choose so we were very lucky! The accomodation was very spacious and clean and beautifully decorated. There was a garden to enjoy a little time relaxing. Following a small relation we undertook a circular walk surrounded by chou fields and through pretty villages, it was wonderful and just what we needed! I have taken the details as we would choose to proactively stay here again in the future. I didn't have access to my emails so the host called me, My French language skills are OK but were put to the test over the phone but we managed. Very lovely host who came in person to welcome us.

I didn't like that we got a flat tyre when we left but that had nothing to do with the property.

The property is in a beautiful location away from town surrounded by farmland. Christophe is very friendly and helpful. It was great visiting the menagerie he keeps too. We loved the peace and comfort.

Really welcoming staff, the room was big and had all the things you needed to make it a base camp and go out for the day. Breakfast was amazing but you have to pay cash at the property.

We had a delightful stay in a cozy room at a charming farmhouse near Lille. The big, beautiful garden at the back was a serene retreat. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and offered excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

It was exactly what I was looking for from a short break, somewhere peaceful in lovely surroundings. Christophe was a great host and made us feel welcome. He stayed in contact with us and this was really appreciated. The breakfast was lovely, with a range of tasty foods.

Christophe was very friendly and my lateness of arrival was not a problem. The rural setting was great and there is handy access to the major roads. It is very close to the battlefields that I wanted to visit.

We couldnt get the 'drench' part of the shower working. Other than that...nothing. All perfect.

Stayed here before. Excellent stopover on the way to Calais. Lovely host. Be prepared to speak French. Able to park right outside the door to our room. Quiet place surrounded by fields.

The room description mentions a lake and garden view, but neither of these are present. The room contains a small double bed, and the bathroom is open, with no door, separated from the room by just a short curtain. While you can see the lake from outside the house, the table area shown in the pictures is not in a shared space, and it’s for the owner’s private use. The area with table is pointed to a ‘private’ sign and is not usable by Guests of Chambre coin nature. The photos provided do not accurately represent the room or its amenities. When I pointed out that my reservation mentioned a lake view, the owner explained that this was a general description and not specific to the room I booked. To get a room with a lake view, I was told I would have to pay an extra €10 per night. It felt unfair to pay extra for facilities that should have been included.

Back garden is nice and have several type of domestic animals which gives a live farm feeling.

As soon as we walked into the property there was a terrible smell and unfortunately there was mould around the floor of the shower and in the kitchen cupboard. We did not use the shower for our stay. Crockery is not microwave safe and there is nothing else to use for cooking or reheating in the microwave.
