Great hotel and staff. Wish the 5 Continent Spa embedded within the hotel had the same high standards…

Location is great for kids and beginners, hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, breakfast was nice. Aside from the dinner and lunch menu the hotel was great. The facilities are a little run down and old , hotel could use a little bit of an uplift.

Only minor thing is that it is a 20-30 minute uphill walk from the main village area to the hotel. There is a complimentary bus that goes up and down which makes eating out a bit of a challenge. Luckily the Hôtel restaurant is very good with a wide selection of wines!

Have stayed in a few places in les meniures. This is the best place. Great reception staff, lovely bar area, spa, and loved the ski room with individualised locker. The room was amazing, plenty of space, a safe and great products!

The hotel is right at the top of the resort - fantastic for skiing but less convenient if you want to get out and about. Access to shops was particularly limited (ski hire and a Sherpa but not much else). Enough places to eat within reach though.

We had a fantastic stay at Chalet Hotel Kaya in January 2025. We were a group of 11 spread across four rooms, all of good standard and comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast and enjoyed our evening meal. Standout at the hotel was the staff team, which was friendly and helpful. Great location with easy access to the slopes. Bit apart from the main village of Les Menuires but fairly easy to access by regular bus service. Some nice touches made the stay even more special - afternoon tea, the sweet trolley, the games room. Very helpful to have the ski hire on site.

Skiing in and out will be tough for beginners as the only slope that leads to/from the hotel is a difficult one.

Spacious room, has coffee machine. Friendly and helpful staff, private parking (at a cost).

The other tourists were territorial about seating. I am kind so I let them have it, but be weary. Also again, if you get there earlier it is not a problem.

The breakfast was phenomenal with plenty of choices and great coffee, but get there early before items runout.

The restaurant in the evening is horribly over priced and if they considered catering for a more simple evening meal that would suit all the families staying (particularly in half term and holidays). Also the lighting in the room is bad. More table lights, fewer blinding spots overhead. Breakfast was good but more staff needed - self service is fine but it needs more staff to make it run smoothly.

Drinks and food were very expensive. Path to piste from boot room was a bit treacherous as it was the end of the season. Bed sheets were a bit scratchy.

The suite and balcony were fantastic. Lots of space for our family of 4. Good location right next to the bus stop and piste. The bar area was really lovely. There was no fridge in the room as they had taken them out but they put one in for us when we asked. Breakfast was really great.

The restaurant is good and the quality of the food is high, but the choice is limited and it's a little costly. Estimate £50-£60 per person per night for dinner. Given the hotel's location, it's a little challenging to get to the village for dinner - there are navettes but they can be a little infrequent. If you want something simple after a day's skiing then you'll be out of luck. The restaurant serves high quality savoyard-type food but three nights of this was enough and a trip to Reberty for a burger was needed. If you go to Les Menuires anywhere near British or French holiday periods and plan to eat out - make your reservations before your trip. Getting a table anywhere for dinner is a nightmare.

Kaya is a lovely place to spend a few days. The facilities are great and the rooms are very comfortable with nice touches. Very comfortable beds, quality toiletries, coffee machines and welcoming decor. Plenty of choice at breakfast, and the reception team are obliging, professional but warm and friendly. Skiing straight from and back to the hotel

If anything, when it comes to bathroom amenities, I would have appreciated there being 2 different bottles for shampoo & shower gel instead of one for both.

The rooms are super calm, coupled with the comfort of the bed and sheets, you get some quality sleep here! The bathroom looked freshly renovated, and the bathrobe was really soft and cozy. The breakfast offer is endless, you get cheese from the region, great charcuterie, viennoiseries, and the chef is dedicated to preparing any kind of eggs. I think you can even ask for crêpes. A huge plus is that you are able to freshly squeeze your own orange juice. The staff is really friendly yet professional, always available if anything is needed. I can definitely say that they played a huge role in the quality of the hotel and stay.

It has a fabulous location for skiing but it does make it quite remote. This means there are limited dining options in the area and you need to plan around late night buses which are only every 40 minutes in the evening.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The ski locker facilities were excellent with boot warmers. The afternoon snacks served at 4pm are delicious and very welcomed after a day of skiing. The breakfasts are excellent with lots of choice.

Pretty expensive (hotel, bar, parking). Restaurant is more expensive than the others but definitely worth it! Globally hotel is very clean but sometimes our glasses were not perfectly clean. Access to ski slopes was difficult as there was not enough of snow. Pool billiards in very bad condition.

Very nice room with beautiful decoration. Very nice staff. Excellent swimming pool and sauna. Ski room perfectly organized with a lot of space. Direct access to ski slopes. You can’t miss the great cocktails in the bar and the desserts served between 4-5.30 pm in the bar. But the best is the Keirn restaurant. Food is delicious! Greek chief makes a perfect match of French cuisine elegance and freshness of the Mediterranean style. Every dish was at the Michelin star restaurant level.

    Nothing.

The staff were very helpful. Our daughter was ill during the stay, they helped to change the bed sheet very professionally. One night the reception helped to call the doctors at 2am and gave us a lot of support. We feel very well looked after. The room was clear, good size, and all the facility are working in good condition. The facilities onsite such as ski shop and restaurant is superb. The location is good for ski too.
