The dishwasher shelf had the wrong wheels and kept collapsing.

Location and facilities were amazing. Very spacious apartment, well equipped and with a large balcony/ beautiful view. We will book again.

For the apartment to be perfect, it should be equipped with a few charging stations for electric cars (there is none). Kitchen gloves or something equivalent would have been useful.

The apartment is spacious, especially for standards in the French Alps. It is very well equipped overall and perfectly located next to the ski slope. It has a very good ski gear drying room, and a nice spa area. It's also well equipped with wardrobe space.

Building needs more maintenance to honor the 5starts. Work top scratched, digital heating control broken, suspension above the dining table damaged. We couldn’t open the balcony window for the first 2 days. Nothing major and not much to do to achieve excellence.

Great location 5 minutes away from the snow front amazing and friendly staff. Bread, pastry and orange juice service available at the reception. I will come back again!

Only one minor gripe in that the Ski/boot room is small and can get very busy with only a few seats, however timing the gearing up/down means this can be mostly avoided. Could also perhaps do with a better bar as there’s a large seated area but limited drink options, again not a major thing ( so that’s actually two minor gripes) 😄

The need for a taxi (prior to the first red bus) in the early hours of the morning is a little expensive. The difference between the two Red bus routes from the nearby circle can lead to major problems and needs to be explained better by Val-d'Isère. Different colours maybe.

if I were being picky I’d say pillows were too hard, so we went out and purchased some of our own . Used towels in spa area weren’t cleared away until end of day so we’re everywhere in swimming pool area. Didn’t look that nice.

Garage- tricky to get into and out of spaces with a big car. Glad that your guests are all very good drivers! Lift from car park very busy on arrival. Needed to walk up to 6th floor with some of luggage.

If you're looking for an awesome ski vacation, look no further than Chaletz Izia! First and foremost, the manager and staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff was attentive to our every need, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The manager, in particular, was extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions we had about the facilities or the surrounding area. The equipment in the ski rental was in good condition, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to rent everything we needed on site, which made our ski days even more convenient. We recommend to book in advance. As for the facilities, we stayed in a beautiful and cosy apartment with a fireplace and large balcony. The four bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and linens that ensured a great night's sleep. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Chaletz Izia was its location. Situated right on the slopes, we were able to ski in and out with ease. The views from our apartment were breathtaking, and we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning scenery of Val D'Isere. Overall, I cannot recommend Chaletz Izia enough. From the incredible manager and staff to the exceptional facilities and ski rental service, they truly have it all.

Although there was clear signage in the pool area that running, shouting, jumping and diving were not permitted, some parents ignored this, and let their kids do just this, making it impossible for anyone who wanted to swim or relax. There is an adults only hour at 6.45pm every day, so if you want to be certain that when you go to the spa pool you can relax, I'd recommend you go then. Our apartment living area was a little too small for all four of us to relax together in the evening. Although the balcony was really spacious, it was furnished with 2 chairs, which again meant all 4 of us couldn't sit together outside.

The hotel is really well located for ski in, ski out. The boot room and locker is well heated so our boots were a little easier to put on in the morning! Our apartment had a big balcony with a fab view of the slopes. The ski shop in the hotel was good value and run by friendly, helpful personnel. The spa area, with pool, sauna and steam room, was great to use at the end of a day's skiing. Personnel on reception were really responsive and helpful with any query I had.
