Seems that the property has been developed in stages and the later additions have a bit of design flaw - it lacks attention to detail and sofistication.

Very minor complaints: the bed was firmer than we would have liked, and the shower head, which was actually the head of a hand held sprayer, was not revitalizing, the spray was weak.

Beautiful property located close to all the beautiful vineyards in Pauillac, St. Estephe, St Julien and Margaux. Fantastic location! Breakfast was great and the staff were always eager to help and friendly!

Inhouse dinner restaurant was closed during COVID-19 so we need to walk 5-10min to the closest restaurant (which was cozy and nice so no complaints).

Wonderful experience staying in a chateau. Have breakfast outside overlooking the vineyards. Relax by the pool with a glass of wine. They even arranged for dinners and bikes to be delivered to the chateau for a lovely ride through the backroads amongst the vineyards, chateaus and old towns. Lovely stay

It is located near the first growths. Garden was beautiful and you are literally having breakfast next to the vineyard. The view is great. The chateau is beautiful with big famous bottles for us to catch a photo.

I think the bathroom of the Junior Suite we stayed in was not newly renovated like some of the bathrooms in the photos I saw here on Booking. Nonetheless, it was spacious and rather clean. And my husband was very happy to have the larger room.

Highlight of our stay was the impeccable service by their wonderful staff. Reception helped us book visits at Lynch-Bages and Gruaud Larose and made us feel welcome even before we ended up at the hotel. Upon arriving, everyone from reception to the porters to the cleaning staff had a smile on their faces and were exceedingly kind. We were given a free upgrade to the Junior Suite to our surprise. A much larger room in comparison to the one we had booked. We also really enjoyed the pool and the delicious food at Cafe Lanival, a short walk away from the hotel.

Over priced If I pay this price , I will expect breakfast is included or a glass of wine in the bar, at least .
