Sadly this hostel doesn’t have a shared kitchen, which is rather sad if you are traveling on a budget.

It is really clean, the staff is super nice and the location is great. Thanks to the curtains on the bed, you have great privacy and since the beds are very high you can also comfortably sit on them.

Fantastic place, one of the new breed of super hostels, where a beautiful old building has been spectacularly repurposed. Location was outstanding, on a quiet street a very short walk from the main quayside. The bed set-up with the privacy curtains worked wonders.

It was so close to the center so I was able to visit everything without walking a lot and it was super clean and friendly staff and cozy nice rooms and good showers highly recommended

No info on amenities (microwave, coworking space, menu options etc) was provided at check in so things had to be discovered independently. The toilets (both the one in the room, and another couple toilets in the corridor) do not have a sink next to them which means it's not possible to wash hands without touching several door handles on the way to find a sink. The sink in the room was next to the shower instead - hand soap would be nice to have. All food and drinks must be purchased as there is nowhere to store or prepare your own food or a cup of coffee. No elevator is available.

Beds were comfortable and offered privacy with curtains. The renovations are new. Inside the bed "pod" there were sockets and a dimmable light that was quite handy. Lockers were solid - own lock was required. Bathroom was reasonably clean - though it would be nice to have some kind of bathmat so the place doesn't end up too wet. Staff were friendly and spoke both French and English. Luggage storage is available for 1 hr or 8 hrs or longer - at an additional cost. Location is very central - it's situated in a pretty house on a quiet street with beautiful arches and cobblestones - within a few minutes on foot from the port. There is a coworking space and a few loungers outside.

The property is in a great location, the team whom work at the hostel are fantastic and there is a Grocery store 5 mins away.

The rooms were only accessible by stairs I think? Door didn't have signage on it.

Friendly welcome from the hosts. It's in a great location to wander around ths area. Loads of spaces for bikes in a good courtyard with electric points too.

This is a beautifully refurbished building. The place is well run and the staff extremely helpful. The property is beautifully clean and maintained. If there is a downside that would be that there are no tea or coffee making facilities or any form of kitchen. It didn’t affect me as I was always planning on dining out but if you were working on a tight budget everything that you would consume at these premises, you would purchase. It has a nice bar/ restaurant.

Luggage storage is not free. It is around/under 2€ for different sizes and duration of time. It is not expensive but it'd be nice if it is free.

The decoration of the hotel is modern and the facilities are new. There are quite a lot of showers in the floor I stayed and they are nice and clean. There is a dry area separated from the shower, where you can put your clothes. This is not available in almost all hostels I have stayed in before, which I really appreciate. You can borrow a hairdryer at the reception.

If the Interior Design architect did a great job regarding the decoration, on the other hand, he made a big failure on the practical aspect of the bathroom: you don't put the sink where people can potentially be washing their teeth right d the doors. That's super dangerous when someone opens the door!

Great location in the old town of La Rochelle, in an old but very well-renovated building. All the expected facilities: comfy bed with a curtain, quiet and warm. The design/decoration is amazing (roof in the corridor, up to choice of lights in the stairs), reminding the harbour spirit of the town.

Beautiful property, very clean, the staff were super friendly. The way that the dorms are laid out gives everyone the privacy they need so it doesn’t feel like you’re in a room with 9 other people. Toilets and showers were very clean

Staying in the hostel, it would be nice to have a relaxing area (lounge) that wasn’t in the main bar to just sit and chill. No kitchen or coffee making facilities.
