The shower was not perfectly clean, i.e. its walls were decorated with a snot. And the towels smelled strange. Was it because of the detergent? I would start using another one...

The building looked super old from the outside, even scary to enter. When we entered nobody was at the registration and we had to wait for 20 min. But the guy was very nice and helpful and also spoke English. And the facilities inside were decorated very stylishly. Some bright color doors, light purple stairs, retro style paintings, the conditioning system worked very well.

The water in the shower was cold. And after I saw the info that I had to wait around 10 min in order to have it warm.. AC didn't work.

Lumpy pillows & heavy quilt for time of year. Not properly double glazed, so noise not kept out in mornings. No proper shower cabinet & no curtain so impossible to shower properly, & bathing difficult for older people. Stairs had broken spindles in railings, so dangerous for young children.

Overriding factor was location in the Bastide. Free or cheap parking just outside. Few minutes from most restaurents. Good price for the location.

It’s an old building so pretty noisy - doors being closed, people in the room above walking around, and the toilet being flushed. Street noise was ok though - gets quiet early. Lumpy pillows.

Fabulous location - easy walk from the station, right on the edge of the old town with easy walk yo the medieval city & castle. Simple clean colourful room in an old building. Small but comfortable size. Comfortable bed. Lovely staff. Would stay here again. Good restaurant right next door.

The location is excellent, the beds are super comfy and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is in a really cool old building. Nothing fancy but perfectly decent for a short stay. Towels, wifi and shower gel were provided.

The shower curtain rail had been relocated too high so the curtain hung in mid-air instead of magnetised against the shower tray, so it sprays on the floor. You can see the impressions in the wall where it had previously been.

The location was excellent, close to both the airport and the city center. The staff were friendly and even arranged a last-minute taxi for us when our Uber didn't arrive. However, cleanliness was a bit lacking, especially in the shower area. Despite this, the property was comfortable and budget-friendly, with a cozy bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement in cleanliness.

Staff at front desk friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, bed comfortable, and bathroom was bright and clean. Easy check in and out. Location was perfect and very close to where I needed to be. Would definitely book again for visiting Carcassonne. Also great value for the room and location.

It’s the worst hotel the room smells like gaz I told the front desk they told me if I don’t like it I could leave very rude. Very toxic it’s not safe to stay there I don’t recommend it I call booking didn’t not do nothing about it they took my money and didn’t refund me booking is very weak too

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The location is very central. Public parking right outside is free on Saturday afternoon and Sundays. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no issues with noise. Overall excellent value and we would stay again!

There wasn't any aircon (we knew this prior to booking so it wasn't a problem), was about 25-30C when we stayed and it was just about fine for the 3 of us in a triple room however I'd maybe go somewhere with AC if it was any hotter.

Stayed here with some friends for short break in Carcassonne. We got a triple room for the 3 of us as we just needed somewhere cheap with a great location to sleep and shower and this place was ideal. If you're after somewhere luxurious then I'd look elsewhere but if you just need a clean bed in a central location then you wont be disappointed. Paid far more to stay in far worse and would 100% stay again.
