Location and comfort

Nice location, nice breakfast, nice facilities. They upgraded me to the nicer room for the first night, so I decided to stay 1 more night in booking directly with them in hopes that they would give me the same price as the first night or the better price than Booking.com because they paid commission. But no chance to make them change, I paid the same price as on Booking.com. I am from hospitality direction, I can understand how important to get the loyal customer. It is not about money but about the principle and commercial aspect. I was a little bit disappointed. Overall I love this hotel.

The room was a little run down, it’s was a damp room and you could smell it and see some parts of the dampness affecting the walls. I think in terms of value for money, it might be a bit expensive for the quality of the room that I had.

hairdryer is not strong power, took long to dry my long hair.

The location is among the few nearest hotel from Avignon train station (Avignon Centre), thus easy to pull your luggage to the hotel from the train station. Distance to the palais also not far (less than 1km). Carrefour & Normal are nearly thus make it easy to buy grocery. Room is clean, it is small but can fit in 2 big suitcases. Air-conditioning is good too.

Breakfast was ok, it was nice to sit out in the courtyard, but a little expensive for what it offers. Next time I might grab a croissant and coffee round the corner for half the price!

We stayed in a lovely room that was very clean, nicely decortaed and well equipped. Sat out on a terrace where there was also wifi access so I could do some work from there overlooking the rooftops and tree canopy. Staff was friendly and location was great. We only had one night and were able to explore a lot of Avignon on foot from the hotel. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

All was really fine. The room was somewhat small, but I think quite the norm for European standards (at the price). A/C was included, as was coffee, tea, hot water kettle, and fridge. No real complaints--nice view of the small inner courtyard.

There was nothing I didn't like. I don't think there was a lift which might be a problem for some.

Hotel Central was ideally situated, a short walk from the Place de l'Horloge and the Palais des Papes but away from any noisy cafes, and about 6 minutes walk to Avignon Central train station. The staff were kind and polite and the rooms nicely decorated and comfortable, with a kettle and tea and coffee. The rooms overlooking the courtyard were particularly nice. The breakfast had nice pastries, bread, cold meats, boiled eggs and fruit. The hotel was ideal for our stay and I would certainly recommend it.

Breakfast Would like water, more variety, marmalade and honey and more cereal choice. The basin stopper got stuck, so could not release water to drain. Tv in the room only of benefit to french speakers. At least offer subtitles and Euro news channel.

Location was on the main street with easy walk to shops and tourist attractions. Staff were very friendly and approachable. We thought our bathroom sink plug was stuck but apparently they open theirs differently in France with a lever behind the tap. A sign saying this would have been helpful. Best time in Avignon lovely city.

Everything was fine.

The hotel's location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station inside the walls of the old town. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food, lots of coffee and freshly boiled eggs. My room was small but comfortable and included everything I needed. I was happy to be able to make myself a hot coffee upon arrival.
