No AC. My fridge didn’t work. One of power plugs didn’t work. You cannot eat in hotel

No air conditioning, which is a challenge in August. The bed and pillows were somewhat hard for our taste. We had one small piece of soap which for some mysterious reason disappeared on our last day! There was no soap in the two containers for liquid soap. We ended up using the shampoo to wash our hands (didn't bother going all the way down to reception etc) We discovered a small fridge. It worked, but we had to clean it and there was water in it. Other occupants were loud at night time (incl. after midnight), and every morning incl. Sunday there were binmen shouting outside and the rubbish van was really loud!- No fault of the hotel but very disruptive.

the staff were friendly, the hotel was in the centre of town, there are cafes and restaurants and a Metro station nearby. Breakfast is available. So is free wifi, but you have to specify that you want to use it and get a specially printed username and password. Once obtained it works quite well and automatically when you return to the hotel.

Needs a bit of a refurb

Traditional Parisian hotel vibes in a great location, really handy for an early morning train out of Montparnasse. The balcony was a lovely bonus. Staff are helpful.

An old hotel, not very suitable for long term stay I imagine.

Prize & performance was good. Location is good if you have a train in the morning. No air condition, but when you open the windows there was not too much noise.

Sign stating no eating in room. Room was not available even at the late 3 pm stated time. and a few toiletries and towels were delivered even later.

Staff was really nice and helpful. The location was fantastic. Walking distance to Montparnasse and 2 different Metro lines. The street had many different restaurants to choose from.

Breakfast. The breakfast was beyond unbelievable, a total waste of money. For the same price you can get way better breakfast anywhere in the city. Don't recommend it at all.

The location is excellent, very close to metro and there are a lot of restaurants, bars, shops nearby. The room, bathroom was clean. The staff was kind and helpful.

Location and pleasant setup. Bed was a bit worn out. Staff is very helpful and professional. Appreciated the wonderful breakfast in the morning!!

Room is very average. Most of the fixtures (towel rack etc) have been installed badly and it’s all falling apart. There was mold on the walls in the shower. The bed was stiff and uncomfortable. Someone was smoking downstairs all night and I could smell it badly even at 3 am as it was coming through the bathroom vents. Had to sleep with the window fully opened.

Location is great. Only 5-7 min walk to the train station and the Luxembourg garden are only 25 min walk. Breakfast was very basic (they give you a piece of baguette, a croissant and a pain au chocolat), coffee was also good.

The room is a little scruffy and airless with a poor view and a window that does not open.

We chose this room for its location near Montparnasse Station. On seeing the room, we thought it would be cramped and stuffy, but in fact it was quite comfortable and clean.
