How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Rooms are dated but comfortable.
Short taxi ride from the airport. We stayed here as we wanted to catch the train to ajaccio the following morning- it was around a 15 minute walk to the station which was fine for us. Good size pool. We weren't sure what to expect from dinner but it was delicious!

Hotel with a slightly retro look, an oasis of peace. A huge restaurant, bar, lounge, garden and swimming pool (3 meters at the deepest point), all in old style. Elevator to go up to the well-kept rooms with A/C, mini fridge, bathtub, and flat TV (also a bit retro, could be improved). Excellent wi-fi lying on the bed and looking out from the balcony for a sumptuous rest. Every morning complete cleaning of the room (ménage). A 5-minute walk to the center of the village with the shopping center. On the other side going towards the sea there is the airport 10 minutes away. Rating 8: Staff good people who still have respect for the prices.

A bath with a shower hose you have to hold when showering
Good hotel. Airport and Bastia easy reach. Good restaurant with very friendly staff. Room was ok with balcony.

No shower, only bath with hand held shower unit in our room.
Nice family run hotel. Good size room, very comfortable and quiet. Nice restaurant and bar with reasonable prices. Good sized private car park.

We stayed here only for one night. The room was clean and relatively large situated in a basement with small space - balcony and we could park our car in front of it. There was a swimming pool with clean but too warm water. We also ate in a hotel restaurant, the food was delicious.

While the location is very close to the airport, you can only get there by car / taxi - the latter costing 15-20€ depending on the time of day.
Nice staff, room was comfortable and clean, aircon worked well.

A two night stay which was really pleasant. Some reviews complain it was dated in style, but for me it is a period hotel, traditional in style and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and obliging. Great!

Very friendly staff that accommodated us last minute when our flight was canceled late at night. we felt very welcome. The clean room has basic furniture, but sufficient. We liked this hotel and a big pre is it’s location within 5 minutes of Bastia airport.

AC in the family room only was in the first room, leaving the other room a bit warm.
The kids liked the pool. Finally a pool deep enough to dive into. Dinner was good value with the menu. Walking distance to Carrefour after a long day in the car, if not much to see between there and the hotel.

As said, the location is not really country side but not urban either: we went out on foot to search for dinner but had to walk quite a bit along vehicular roads.
The hotel is in a country side area: even though the main road is just in front, the view from the room is nice and the common areas are very spacious and green. Breakfast is served in a nice veranda, with a rich and varied range of food.

Really loved the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel and its garden. It is like going back in time. Kinda Italian or Cuban chic. Swimming pool is big.

Staff friendly, professional and helpful. Walking distance to Lucciana Train Station. Hotel is on a quiet street. Short car ride from Bastia Airport. Hotel has nice small swimming pool. And the garden which hosts the evening restaurant is a nice tranquil setting. Evening meal in restaurant also good.
