Everything about Carcassonne Townhouse was excellent. The Townhouse is a beautiful old French house that Rachael and Mark have managed to turn into a fabulous bed and breakfast. The house is stylish and and retains a lot of its original features. Breakfast was served every morning by the hosts and was delicious and beautifully presented. Rachael and Mark are wonderful hosts very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location of the Townhouse is ideal and within walking distance of both the old and new town.

Nice breakfast of coffee, and assorted pastries and meats cheeses and figs etc. Plus jams. Rachel was great , as was Mark. And second coffees were the go!

The age of the building means that there is no air con but fans are provided in the rooms. This was fine for us.

Rachael is a wonderful hostess, very friendly and helpful. She has created a charming little hotel. The location is perfect for exploring both parts of the town. Fantastic breakfast.

A beautiful townhouse in excellent position to visit both old and new sides of Carcassonne town. Huge room and well decorated in traditional style, wonderful hosts and plentiful breakfast with a lovely little courtyard for breakfast or evening drinks

Not that bad as there was fans, so we were cool enough even in 34 degrees outside in the day, but no air con could be a sticking point for some

The house is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, the room is big and comfortable, the location is perfect - right in the middle of both areas and the owners are absolutely lovely. What more could you want. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

We loved everything!

Loved the lovely guesthouse and the people we met there! The room was great, with a great view of the fireworks from the doorstep. Very close to the castle as well. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared every morning, and we loved having it on thr terrace outside. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

We absolutely loved this beautiful property in Carcassonne. I is a beautiful house, excellently located between the old town and the downtown area. Extremely clean. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and a little different every day. Rachel is wonderful, very nice and helpful, just a wonderful host and such a delightful person. She helped us arrange a taxi for our departure, and because we would need to leave early, she prepared a breakfast for us to take away! She always has water, tea, and snacks available for the guests, and the lovely house is perfect for relaxation and exploring the entire community. We had a fantastic time at the Carcassonne Townhouse and can’t wait to return! Oh, and the Carcassonne Townhouse has the best view! (See pictures).

Would of been nice to have been offered cooked breakfast rather than continental but was still very good .

Breakfast was varied and tasty . The room was fabulous , the bed was very comfortable . Felt like home from home . Perfect location short walk to Carcasonne Cité and the town but quiet as on the river with supurb views. We wanted to stay in a typical French townhouse and it was , full of charm and character.
