Everything was wonderful. The apartment is in an excellent place to explore the old and newer parts of Carcassonne. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated, and has everything you need. The air conditioning was especially appreciated as it was quite hot during our visit. Communication with the hosts was easy, and checking in and out very simple. Would definitely stay again.

The location was perfect. Right near the old city and close to the new. Quite and close to everything. The apartment is very spacious and it shows they want you feel well in it.

This is a very spacious two bedroom appartment on the second floor with all amenities and good air conditioning, it was 37 when we were there. It is close to the castle walls and you can also walk across the river to the other side. The area around the appartment is being turned into a pedestrian zone so we had to park down by the pharmacy (for free for 3 days) and wheel the suitcases from there.

It is in an ideal location to explore both the old city and the new city. With a short walk to the castle or town, a range of restaurants are available to eat out if you wish. It is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. It is very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Peggy & Anthony are very welcoming and helpful hosts. We highly recommend staying here and will return!

We had a minor problem with the toilet but Anthony and Peggy were so responsive and fixed it very fast. It was a small shame that the ‘place’ outside was being renovated so we didn’t have a pretty view, but that’s just life and by the height of summer it will be fabulous! :) Really there was nothing we didn’t like, and Peggy and Anthony could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed speaking French with them!

The apartment is ideally located, just below the old city, so well placed to walk both up to the city and on the flat into the pretty ´Bastide’ area of town and to the station. It is furnished simply but stylishly so there’s no sense of ‘clutter’. The beds were super comfortable, and the shower really spacious. It’s a welcoming and calm space.

The apartment overlooks a church square which is currently being reconstructed causing some disruption to parking availability. We stayed on a weekend so did not suffer any noise or dust. Before our arrival our hosts alerted us to the works in progress. When completed the outlook from the apartment will be enhanced.

The property was thoughtfully appointed with quality fittings and everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The location was the best in Carcassonne - a short walk uphill to the castle and a stroll in opposite direction across the old bridge to the town centre. Peggy & Anthony are perfect hosts - they checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything but always afforded us privacy.

This place is exceptional. Hosts were super friendly and super helpful. The location is amazing. From one bedroom you even get a superb view of the castle.
