How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very disappointing that you did not do evening meals on a Friday night.My fault that I didn't take note of that when booking. It will affect my future bookings. Who wants to search for food after driving hundreds of miles

Despite the 30°+ weather the air con was all turned off (first time we've had this at this hotel...)
We use this hotel regularly, it is in a perfect position for our onwards travel to Switzerland - great no frills 'value for money' overnight stop.

Airco wasn't very cold.
Nice and clean accommodation, friendly staff and good food. There were also EV chargers, this should be added to booking.com

bathroom needed some refurbishment and bath only good for a very very short person. No restaurant available at week end is very unfortunate/poor, especially given the hotel is located on the outskirts of town and well away from any other restaurants.

It is outdated but ideal for a stop over whilst traveling. Money/value wise a fair deal.
Staff friendlyness. Place to park. Easy to reach next to the highway.

Air conditioning broken throughout the property. Outdoor spaces tired and uncared-for. Pets not allowed in the bar area. Staff struggled to find our booking. Shower wall mount was broken.
Comfortable beds and very clean. Pet friendly in the rooms.

A lot! The bed is very old, still with springs like in 1960. And the head of the bed is crooked, looks like the bed is crooked(photo added) Was too warm to sleep (no airco) and the room is very small!
Was quite at night, clean room, lady-receptionist was very helpful and friendly.

The rooms facing the backyard are more noisy as they face the motorway. If you have upstairs neighbours you hear them. Insulation (even glasses) should be done from scratch.

The facility of the room was not enough,
I just stayed one night in this hotel, for us location was good , behavior of staff was acceptable , breakfast was good .

The room smelled like someone had smoked in there and the interior in general was very outdated. The front desk lady spoke only French so it was hard to communicate as I do not speak any French at all. In comparison to other hotels in the same area for the same price where I have stayed it was not a good value for money.
Location was convenient and it was very quiet.

Slightly worn facilities
Location, ease of access to rooms, all basics are available, clean and good price. Breakfast buffet was very well stocked, above expectations!

The hotel (and the room) is towards a busy road, even if there is a hedge between. Laxou dining options (aside from the hotel own one) were 30 min walk away. The third bed was folded under the double bed and then opened took all space towards bathroom. It took several tries (with the same French bank card as paid for the stay) to pay the surcharge of a pet and breakfasts. I was also first charged again for the already paid room reservation.
Comfy double bed, nice access to garden from the room, parking spots available in the courtyard.

the location is not very clever, to far from the motorway, not easy to find. It has no Restaurant.

Room furniture and hardware should be updated. A little more effort on maintenance is needed.
Basic rooms/facilities that were convenient for an overnight stay. Staff were very helpful.

My room had a light outside of it and the blackout curtain didn't close the windo of so used a towel to keep the light out.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast and room and quiet. Good parking too. Enjoyed a pizza and breakfast on the terras with the cat.
