How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I didn't like that a lot of hotels now have removed the coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms. Why? It will only make travellers resort to tea heaters and cups as we use too. This is a industry problem not directed at this hotel.
The reception staff were excellent, pleasant and friendly. Had a problem with my laptop and they went out of their way to help me. Also gave me directions to catch the bus into Rennes centre. Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy no complaints. Breakfast was plentiful every morning.

The parking space, the room service, the staff professionalism, the bed was comfortable.
The room is very small in comparison to other hotel with the same prices . I wouldn't rate this hotel 3 stars. Two stars would be relevant. Lots of wear and tear in the communal areas which need refurbishment. The staff was great otherwise.

The room was very expensive not worth the cost The shower was a joke anybody over 10 stone can’t use as to small . You had to shower with door open All the restaurants were expensive in the area so best deal was the hotel . For me far to expensive and not worth the extra €20 compared to others Added to the city tax

overall there's very little to complain about, and for us it was good

My fault really but I assumed breakfast was included and it isn't. There is no hot food at breakfast and the buffet was extremely basic and for 14 euros, isn't worth it. If I had known I was going to be charged I wouldn't have had it. The dining room is also only open Mondays to Thursdays, so if you need an evening meal, you are going to need a car to get out as the hotel is remote.
The staff are very friendly and the room itself, although basic, has a comfortable bed and was quiet.

1. Shower room a bit too small, will hit the wall if you move too much 2. Not a very big room, but can't complain too much with such price 3. The cleaning lady keep opening our door every hour in the morning when we just want to get a good sleep...
1. They have water dispenser in lobby!!!!!!! (Hot / warm / cold!!!) 2. Quite a good location, right next to the bus stop, and the bus go straight to city center and train station 3. They have car park (tho I don't drive)

Nothing bad to say
Lovely room, very comfortable and clean and the pillows were the best! We had an excellent dinner, the waiter recommended a very nice wine and the ambience was pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the coffee was hot.

Nothing like photos, very dated and shabby, Photos must have been taken 20 years ago, our room had generator or extractor fan below, it kept us awake all night. Not good

Considering it's a stop over type motel, sleep comfort is priority, but the beds were so narrow, you couldn't turn over for fear of falling off (and I'm a standard width!). Room was tiny.
Location was convenient for a stop over and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have the breakfast as we had to leave early but it looked amazing.
