Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSurround area around pool could be improved. Please note google maps took us to the wrong road with a similar name in Corps which was a camping site next to the lake. Make sure you search in Boustigue for the correct destination which is very high up!
A gem of a rustic hotel with a fabulous panoramic view. Nice good value evening meal.

United KingdomExcellent value for money, but as others have said the property could benefit from further improvements.
The location of the Boustigue hotel is fabulous, with views particularly from the panorama area to enjoy. Our family room for five was much bigger than expected with not just views of the courtyard but also a balcony looking over the gardens. We only had one night but enjoyed a fantastic evening meal including a large buffet starter and desert selection - complements to the chef! Waiter and waitress very attentive and helpful with language difference.

NetherlandsOn Booking the rooms are advertised as 2 person, and no other rooms available. When we got there we got a 4 persoon room and a 3 person room. We wanted a 4 person room because we travel with children. It would be nice if booking would get the rooms and availability correct.

United KingdomAbsolutely Nothing
This hotel is approached via a 4 km switchback road from the village of Corps that keeps climbing with sharp lacets (hairpin bends). When I arrived it looked a bit like a farm but the reward is wonderful. Inside it's great and has an amazing garden where dinners and drinks are served, a swimming pool and the Panorama which must be one of the best inland views in Europe. The owners and staff do everything to make the stay enjoyable and the cuisine is superb. It's all so cheap too for such a great hotel. One of the most special places I've been to stay ever.

United KingdomThis is an old hotel, in need of some repair work.
Off the beaten track, so a little effort up a single track road to reach it. A magnificent location with stunning views of the mountains. Easy access to open spaces, so we enjoyed a relaxing walk after we arrived.

ColombiaThis has nothing to do with the hotel but since it’s up in the mountains a car is 100% necessary. A few people in Grenoble recommended the bus, but I’m telling you right now the car is non negotiable!!!
We loved absolutely everything! The staff, the facilities, the restaurant, the location. It was an absolute dream. Even the small things, like the cold outside, the room heating worked very fast and properly, we were so cozy in the room, and the views were to die for. Plus it’s close to the La Salette cathedral and shrine, as well as the small town that the sheppards were locals to.

FranceThis property is labelled as a hotel, but in fact it is a camping. I had a bungalow in the bathroom there was no water tap but just a shower with no soap no shampoo. It’s not a hotel type organisation it’s made for people to come with their own things and stay there so booking should not consider this as a hotel.
Perfect situation next to a small lake
