Nothing. It was all really ideal. Wish we'd had more time to spend in Bordeaux. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was fantastic and very close to all the sites in the old walled part of the city. There was great food nearby in almost every direction. Waterfront was easy to access. The room was clean and well-stocked. The bed was the most comfortable we slept on for our trip. Morning b'fast basket at the front door was very welcome. Staff were very receptive and helpful. Our bag had been lost in Amsterdam and would arrive a day later. We were out wandering Bordeaux when we received notification that the bag was being delivered. We messaged Cecile and she happily agreed to accept our bag and placed it in a storage locker. Very appreciative!

For us it was excellent but the ladder to the mezzanine bed might be difficult for some.

Excellent location in St.Michel district of Bordeaux. Lovely plaza with good restaurants and bars close by but also very quiet. Easy walk from the station. Apartment spacious and clean with good facilities. Communication from owner re access was clear and responsive. She also provided a lovely breakfast each day including eggs which was great. Excellent air-conditioning.

The property is on the outer part of the old town, so it's removed from the bustle, and requires a walk to most destinations (both a pro and a con!)

The room was spacious and well equipped. Communication was excellent - very responsive, with clear information for all aspects of the booking, and recommendations to enjoy the best of beautiful Bordeaux.

Note that you need to climb steep stairs to get to the room and the bed is above the kitchen so you also need to climb a ladder. I missed comfortable chairs, shelves or at least a stand to put my bag on...

Good contact with the owners and quick reaction to any questions! Excellent location! The room is simple, has a small kitchen and there are shops around to buy basic stuff.

We loved the apartment, it was great to be there and it had everything we needed. The communication beforehand and during our stay was clear and helpful. It is also very nice that it is both within walking distance of the train station and the city centre with nice restaurants literally around the corner, yet the apartment was calm and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay at B&B Bordeaux Saint Michel. It is in a great location, handy to local restaurants and bars, and only 3 minutes’ walk from the tram stop for the C and D lines. Our host Cecile gave us a nice breakfast basket each morning and was great with advice on nearby places to eat at for dinner. Our apartment was very quiet, and so we slept well at night.

Everything was great. If we even missed anytjibg it was just having a way of streaming or watching youtube on the TV. But for a short stay that is really not necessary.

The area is ok by day, but by nighttime, I wouldn't want to be walking alone. The room was quite warm, especially by the bed.

I am on a five weeks holiday across Europe and this is the best accomodation we stayed at! The location is really good and most places are walkable or tram (tickets included in CityPass) is nearby to jump on. The breakfast basket 🧺 was amazing and you get two fresh eggs to cook however you like. The space is very functional, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean and the kitchen is fully equipped. Cécile was responsive and accommodating. Hands down best experience! Strongly recommend!
