Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This was a sweet spacious studio apartment that was very convenient to getting out and walking around this cute little village. Its skylights and creamy interior made it very pleasant and cheerful. We can’t say enough good things about the hosts, Emily and Rafael! They live a few steps down in the same little alley access. They both speak very clear English and were very attentive to making sure we had everything we needed. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay any longer even though we were there for six nights!! Bonnieux is a real authentic village community without touristy shops. You can easily walk to restaurants, to get coffee, to a little grocery store and their weekly Friday morning market. This is what travel is about!

Excellent choice to spend a few days in the Luberon valley and visit its villages. The loft is very well located in Bonnieux, close to restaurants and market, and with free parking nearby. Emilie is the best host you can have in whole Provence. Thank you very much!

The location was wonderful and the apartment was very comfortable. We loved the fireplace! It was chilly while we were there and the fireplace made it so cozy. Emilie was a wonderful host and really went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend!

Emilie was a fantastic host who lives right next door and is available for anything you need, via text or in person. She offered great recommendations for the area as well. The place is perfect for 1 or 2 people, is delightfully cozy with French village charm but modern comforts. The location is absolutely perfect--just minutes from the town bakery and accessible parking so you can zip in and out of the town to visit other areas. The town is just perfect and one of my favorites I visited while traveling the area. I would absolutely come back to stay here!

Only one small window but not really an issue as we put and about most of the day.
Clean, spacious and comfortable studio with good kitchen facilities in the beautiful town of Bonnieux. Emily is a helpful and friendly host.

The apartment had beautiful sunlight from the two skylights (which could be closed at night if you didn't want to look at the stars) but only a very window. A minor issue that shouldn't stop people from staying at Loft La Pause.
A lot of love and attention has gone into this spacious, tastefully renovated/decorated studio apartment all on one level. Great location. Emilie was so lovely and very helpful with all our questions.

Conveniently located in the center of Bonnieux, close to a parking.. and 5 min away from the market place. Nicely renovated and cozy 1-bedroom appartement with small yet full equipped kitchen; great when you need a break from eating out! Great hosts as well, flawless communication, good and meaningful information to get there abd enjoy the surroundings, easily reachable im case of need.
