We had a very comfortable stay, quiet and easy walk to the town. Safe space for storing bikes and easy access to cycling routes. Room was clean and modern (if a bit small) bathroom.

The owners were very welcoming and stayed up very late to accommdate us facilitate our very late arrival.

Great location and helpful hosts. Enjoyed our time by the pool between hiking and cycling. Great place to relax and convenient location into town. Loved it!

Nice hosts, very beautiful views. It was amazing! The room was nice and clean, there is possibility to a small but nice breakfast and there is also a bar for drinks and a restaurant for dinner.

A bit warm in the room, but we knew that there was no airco. And there is a great swimming pool to cool off in!

Room was bright and the view was amazing. The hosts were the best, very helpful and made us feel like we were at home. The restaurant was superb.

Good location with a short walk into Bourg d’Osians. Set in nice grounds. The hotel gently ouzed character and our excellent breakfast was cooked to order.

Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very tasty food with quality fresh ingredients. I was a little concerned that the children may not find anything to their liking but they enjoyed the beef bourguignon despite being a little disappointed not to be able to have the steak that previous travellers had raved about - we were in the winter menu. Rooms very comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped and very clean. Owners were lovely and kindly let the children play table football whilst we checked out. Excellent location for travelling up to Alpe D’Huez the next morning.

It’s a little ‘unassuming’ when you drive up - perhaps a little more could be done to make the entry route more inviting. The building is solitary and quite imposing and my husband did give me the ‘where are we?’ look but once inside it was very comfortable and pleasant.

Lovely old style hotel with really good food (owner is a chef). Very convenient to Le Bourg d’Oisans and Alpe d’Huez

We were there late July and rooms were very hot and it’s quite noisy with windows open as it’s close to main road. ( there was a bit of a heatwave in France)

The place is nicely renovated. There is a refreshing pool at the end of a long cycling day. Some mosquito nets and air conditioning would be useful, as it gets quite warm at night and there are lots of mosquitos around. Owners were quite helpful initially and accommodated us with our bicycles. They provide freshly grilled dinner on site. Very conveniently located at the bottom of the climb to Alpe d Huez.

Unprofessional and insulting owners (except their 2 children who work there). On the day of our check out we were planning an early climb to Alp d Huez. We were travelling with our 3 year old daughter. We asked about breakfast hours and we were told this is available from 7:30. We managed to get ready by 8:00 (with the 3yrs old). The lady got really offended claiming that she was up until 1 am and she barely had any sleep having to wake up preparing our breakfast. We were aiming for a quick start, so we can befenit from the morning shade on the climb. When we asked for the final bill for the meals we consumed is when things got out of hands - and minds. This property is asking for full payment on Booking.com to complete booking. They started by trying to withdraw their funds from Booking.com. The virtual card provided by the site for this purpose did not work, so they accused us of not providing the right bank card details on Booking.com and we want to get away without paying for our stay. She started calling Booking.com customer service and would not allow me pay the rest of our consumption until they have not managed to get their money. She claimed " you made me wait 30 minutes with the breakfast, now you can wait the same amount of time until I clarify this with booking". I left the room to pack the bicycles and prepare the little one for the ride until they figure out their issues, when the husband ran out after me saying that we are about to steal from them. He started threatening me that he will call the police and chase us wherever we go. Things became really mental. Both of the owners shouted with us claiming that we are stealing from them. It was surreal. Eventually spiritst calmed down, we managed to show them the funds being withrawn from our account, we payed for the extra consumption and left after the extra half an hour. Btw, food is overpriced for what it was. It was a very unnecessary ending to an otherwise pleasant stay.

The staff were exceptionsal and very helpful.
