How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It’s a really really 70s hotel with some facelift. The facilities are not great. Room for example didn’t have a plug close enough to the bed

Nothing really!
Comfortable room, great shower, air conditioning, the pool has a good size, it’s not warm but it was hot during our stay so it was great for refreshing. It’s 10min walk from the center, we walked even during the night and it’s a quite safe walk. The staff was SUPER friendly, always smiling and ready to help, we really appreciated the hospitality.

Breakfast was disappointing but with really easy fixes (which made it worse in some ways).

Not much, only one comment regarding the air conditioning that wasn't functioning well unfortunately, room was very humid and i woke up at night sweating, and for sometime it was even leaking.
Nice comfortable clean good sized room and an ideal location. Car Parking is very convenient and easily accessible. lastly, i have to mention the amazing scent in the hotel, it smells wonderful and very pleasant.

Housekeeping didn’t replenish the room tea, coffee everyday - and never the tiny milks.
Good location, comfortable room, roomy bathroom. Breakfast was good, and the swimming pool was great for cooling off after sightseeing

It is in a boring part, bedroom overlooking a mass of cars (for sale), no other shops bars etc near. It's not in the Centre Ville as advertised. The heat. I know that's not to do with the hotel itself but it's relevant to the position as you have to walk quite a bit to get to the centre and theatre.
My room, good size, bathroom good, efficient a.c.; room upgrade given; breakfast; bar; car parking; opera festival I went there for; Couple from Munich I met there.

A convenient location from which to walk into the town centre (10 mins). Car parking - a choice of a small public parking area behind the hotel (pay at machine) or hotels expensive, awkward to enter underground car park.

Really to say something: - Gluten free option at Breakfast was very, very limited. - 16€/day parking on top of the room rate, is a bit expensive. - Maybe increase the pool time in the evening (only 20:00)
Great location, easily reachable by car (all highways), and 10 min walk from the city center. Spacious & Clean Room, great comfy bed. Friendly staff. The pool and patio is so refreshing, especially during summer. Spacious (but paid - 16€/day) underground parking.

Breakfast was laid out very fussily and it was quite difficult to work out what was available. Some signage on the main road would make locating the hotel easier.
Very nice room, comfortable with plenty of space. Good parking behind the hotel which is free at the weekends. Old town with its many restaurants and heritage sites is only about 15 minutes walk

I think that the hotel management wants to make the most without any investment, everything is old, not so well cleaned ( towels were greyish instead of white) the carpets in the room stained . The staff was super helpful and did their best to support and make your stay good - eg parking info, breakfast etc.
The property was easy accessible and had good connection to the attractions in provence and in aix as well.

Minor recommandations: Optimize processesAt the breakfast buffet, I was twice asked by stuff to sign for breakdast bill even though it was prepaid. Please take care that cutlery at breakfast tables is clean

The signage or directions offered could be improved as it is in fact is a laneway off Rue Galice so it wasn’t immediately obvious (being in between two car yards with loads of signs everywhere).
Proximity to the old town and delightful bar tastefully decorated. The staff were quite obliging also with the few requests I had.
