This is a gem of a hotel and I think the most friendly I’ve ever stayed in. The hotelier is incredibly friendly and helpful, he was flexible when we wanted to extend our stay and he even bump-started our car when the battery died on our departure. The rooms are clean, simple, and elegant, and the air conditioning was wonderful. The communal areas of the hotel are lovely and the breakfast was particularly good; very clear care taken to find the best produce. In summary, an excellent hotel with an exceptional owner, offering elegant, quiet, and relaxing surroundings in the middle of a busy little town. We’re already planning our return. Dan

Lack of a power outlet in the bathroom, an extension cord is provided to use the hairdryer but it is a bit cumbersome and uncomfortable. Some parts perhaps need a bit of maintenance, some sockets and the buttons to raise/lower the shutters tend to come out of their place.

Wonderful Hotel in the center of Vallon Pont d'Arc, our room was the 403, I think the most beautiful in the hotel, located on the corner with a double balcony, table and chairs and a view of the hills and the swimming pool, we did not take advantage of the breakfast as thanks to the location of the hotel it was pleasant to go down for a walk and have breakfast directly in the village, we did not even use the parking as we left the car for two days at the nautical base of Vallon Pont d'Arc for the two-day descent of the Ardeche and I preferred to leave the car the other days in the free parking near the cemetery of the city about 800 meters from the hotel. The swimming pool was very convenient and my wife used it while my son and I were canoeing, the location of the hotel is exceptional and allows access to everything that the beautiful village of Vallon Pont d'Arc has to offer.

Comfortable modern room which was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel is close to the central area for restaurants and shops. We stayed for breakfast, which was very good.

Website needs a bit of an update (owner aware). Otherwise no issues at all. Any extra charges very transparent.

Owner has exemplary English, is ever present and will do anything to support your experience. Breakfast was very fairly priced with good quality ingredients. Swimming pool a pleasure, especially in the extreme (by UK standards) August heat. Room is simple, but excellent shower and immaculately clean.

Excellent hospitality. 3rd floor room very comfortable with lovely view. Beautifully prepared breakfast & coffee. Location is perfect. Many shops and places to eat close by. Excellent secure parking lot. If you are into hiking to Chauvet 2, the street (5km w/traffic on curves) or using forest trail cut-off (felt safer than street and reduces distance to 3.9km on stoney path) is worth considering. The owner is very knowledgeable.

An unloved hotel, which was understaffed. The stair well was shabby sheek, without the sheek. Even the plastic flowers drooped. It was cold and unattractive. Our room only had paper cups to drink from which leaked during the night. No courtesy water, tea or coffee. To get a beverage we had to wait till 10am when the chef could make us one, which we had to pay for. The Shower leaked profusely into the bathroom and had done for ages by the marks in the grout tiled floor. The fake paper side to the pool was coming away in one corner, and flapped as we swam. Our first meeting with the owner was when she greeted us as we swam, she told us to not jump in, no hello's. They wouldn't let our sons join us in the pool who were staying else where, for insurance purposes (they were not propared to pay extra insurance to cover this). They wouldn't suggest any other places to eat. It was extremely expensive place to stay for what it had to offer. We were very disappointed. Next time we will stay at Rives d'Arc.

Swifts flew above the hotel in massive displays. But you got this everywhere in the village.
