Nothing, perfect in every way

Everything, it was situated in a beautifully quintessential village, with stunning aesthetics. The team that worked there from reception to waiting to chef staff were all warm and welcoming and could not do enough for me. The room was immaculately clean and had beautiful views. Whilst to top it off the evening meal was the best meal I had of my trip, authentic local produce used and the food was made with love. Perfect stay, complement to the team for an amazing stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

The size of the bed (~1m40), which was a bit small for 2 tall people. Room was not soundproof.

Room was very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was great, the small village of Villars is beautiful. Dog welcome without any additionnal tax. Parking was easy and free in the street.

The location, the friendly welcome and our room were great - we had a lovely view over the little town square from our charming, very clean room. Our breakfast each morning was delicious with homemade bread and rolls with fruit and yoghurt and our evening meal was also excellent. The young couple who run Le Bar des Amis are cheerfully efficient and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The bar has a lovely atmosphere and is enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. We loved our stay there and hope to go back very soon.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, we arrived late at night and they met us very quickly for check-in. The room was clean, cheery and bright with wonderful balcony views in the morning. Breakfast was a feast of the senses, from the coffee to local pastries. We would most definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Pierre for looking after us :)

Nothing about Bar des Amis. Some people might not appreciate the stairs. All the rooms are on the 2nd floor. The toilet and sink + shower were in different rooms. The hotel is in a VERY small community. No stores or any thing else to do. You must drive to go anywhere. Book your reservations at the restaurant in advance to ensure you have a spot.

The staff was very friendly. The room with the balcony was awesome. The restaurant is top of our list from our trip. The air conditioning worked great (which we realized is not common place on our trip).

Villars is a small town, but close to all more touristy towns. It was perfect for us. The hotel was very clean and nice. The breakfast was great! If we have a chance to visit this area again, we will come back.

The property is located centrally in the small village of Villars. Perfect for the type of stay we wanted. Our room overlooked the village square. The host was very nice and amiable, many thanks Clermont.

The sound of farm machinery in the morning - but worth the scenery and otherwise quiet. That my stay was too short.

The staff was very friendly, and helpful to English speakers who know no French. The food (we had supper and breakfast) was wonderful and delicious! The rooms were impeccably clean. The view from the queen with balcony room is marvelous. The town is quiet and buccolic. The decor in the cafe was captivating.
