How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There’s no lift , I found the self service checking in difficult because it didn’t seem to be working (but someone did answer the call to assist me) and no kettle in the room.
I’ve stayed here before and like the location, helpful staff and the price is good.

The room was very small - there was no space for a mini-fridge.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was nice. Check-in and check-out was easy, even though the check-in was done via machine outside the door because we arrived when the front desk was closed. The hotel is right around the corner from a very nice bakery. There was air conditioning.

Very good value for money. The room was very clean. Short drive to a park and ride into the city. Or about a 10 minute walk to the train station. Great bakery a 2 minute walk away.

The accomodation is in a perfect location for a one night stay. It is near the highway and a lot of shops and gas station is near by. Hotel is clean and it is a good value for that price.

There was no kettle to prepare coffee/ tea in the room, and the room was a bit small to move around.
Good location near the highway and very clean. For 1 night was perfect.

Pillows are a bit too big, but otherwise, there are no issues. Would have been more reassuring if there had been a window lock/safety mechanism for a family room on the 2nd floor.
Friendly staff, easy access when reception mot open. Good shower, clean rooms, comfy beds, quiet location but close to restaurants and great boulangerie round the corner. Perfect for a stop over en route back to UK from Italy.

Good value, largely automated accommodation. Comfy bed and excellent continental breakfast. Bacon and egg not very nice.The staff member was not the friendliest but did his job efficiently. Getting through the security gate took a while as we had to go inside and get a code. Would be better if this was emailed instead.

Rooms are crammed, even by European standards. The automated check in is OK, but confusing to some. No elevator, only stairs.
Only affordable and available property near Strasbourg during the Christmas markets. Breakfast and shower were excellent.

That after 21h it was tricky to get to the hotel. Thankfully, there is a train station nearby.

Great overnight stop. Located on an industrial estate (which was predominately household/furniture/bathroom shops) but it suited us perfectly after a long day driving. Self check in worked fine as we arrived about 9pm and although the whole hotel does have a 'hostel' feel to it, our family room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was very tasty. Car park was very full on arrival but completely empty by 8am, which supports the location of the hotel and being mainly used for 1 night stops.

The check in using the screen outdoors took a bit to figure out.
Clean. Comfy. Staff. Good rate. Free parking. A nice bakery next door. And a great asian buffet nearby.

There’s no lift, so be prepared to carry any suitcases upstairs, we were on the second (top) floor. Not a problem for us. There’s no kettle in the room but there is a coffee machine in the entrance area. I found getting into the hotel, out of hours, a little difficult to understand but once you know it’s very easy. Luckily for us there were other people around to help us and the staff are only a buzz away.
The location was good for us and the staff were lovely. It’s a basic hotel but very good for the price.
