How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Double bed a little small. Chap in room about seemed to be testing his Riverdance moves in the evening. Fortunately Michael Flatfoot persuaded him to quit before we went to bed.
Excellent position in the centre of Reims. We stayed on a Sunday so free parking readily available. Rather more expensive to park for the rest of the week. Good value breakfast.

Barking dog at night and in morning!
Excellent location. Very good communication with staff before arrival. Car parking was very efficient and secure a few steps around the corner from the hotel. Very pleasant courtyard for breakfast or relaxing. Lots of shade.

Nothing to complain about, will stay there again next time in Reims.
Amazing location, near the market hall area with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants very near. Staff are helpful and friendly. Nice rooms, better than many in Reims - very comfortable beds.. Excellent parking - but must be pre-booked.

It said online that there was parking but when we arrived there wasn’t any no parking available. This was disappointing as it was a main reason we booked the hotel.
The hotel was clean and in an amazing location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a great district of Reims, within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants & bars. Also within easy walking distance of the Champagne Houses. Our bicycles were stored extremely securely in a nearby garage.

Only that it would have been good to have more of the delicious croissants for breakfast - maybe we could have asked!
A lovely relaxed feel but in a characterful way, certainly not a bland hotel environment! The breakfast patio was also lovely. Most of all the calm and gentle help and advice from Cedric

Room was quite small, but we were only there one night so not a problem
Great location; we booked too late to get the parking, but were given details of a local car park that was cheap (free overnight). Bed was comfortable, there’s no air con, but the windows open and there was a fan in the room.

No in-built air conditioning which was much missed in the heat of July however a plug-in air conditioning unit was provided which made sleeping a little more comfortable than it otherwise would've been.
Great location, easy to find and to park in the dedicated hotel parking which is close by. The room was lovely, a good size, with a really nice ensuite. The courtyard area is a pleasant spot for an aperitif and is also where breakfast was served (although we didn't have any on this occasion). Short walk to an abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars.

Would have been good to have nicer towels and maybe some branded toiletries or at least the ingredients if the refilled bottles used. Also no lift was quite tough in the heat but we knew there wasn’t one.

Because there were no staff after 7pm access to the sitting areas, both indoor and outdoor were locked and out of bounds - disappointing

The front desk closes at 7pm, and access to the garden area is closed at same time. Would be nice if it remained open until 10pm.

The room is small, but this didn’t bother us. The bathroom is split between toilet and shower which means an awkward walk with between to wash your hands.
Short walking distance from station and town centre. Breakfast was simple but delicious and staff were friendly. We were able to check in early which was very convenient as we had all our bags.
