Pretty good location with lots of rooms, shared bathrooms are pretty acceptable. Staff was very friendly and loved the fact that you don't need to pass by the reception area to go to your room. Quiet area with a small park in front of it.

There was no elevator which means that if you are traveling with lots of things it might a bit of pain in the butt to go up to your room. Another thing that took me by surprised was that the storage lockers was an extra paying service. I guess it is safer but not for free.

The staff's warmth, responsiveness, and friendliness were incredible. The bed, although a little firm, was comfortable and provided good privacy.

The pressmatic button from the shower got broken while I was showering and I had to press constantly because the time was REALLY short for a shower.

The location was great and the rooms felt relatively new.

I would have preferred some privacy curtains, especially when other guests check out early or come back late, it helps to not be woken up

Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at! Love the decor and vibe. Lots of communal space to relax if you feel like staying in. Great location in Lyon, for trendy shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Close to several metro. The staff were lovely and helpful and I think this friendly vibe encourages the guest to do the same. My 10-bed shared room was clean and spacious, as were the bathrooms.

The only negative for me was the airflow in the bedroom. You basically have to choose between windows open with airflow but LOTS of noise, or windows closed with disgustingly hot but quiet room. I had ear plugs so noise wasn't an issue for me but others in the room without them literally demanded to have the windows shut! Disappointing that some people aren't up with the play and don't bring ear plugs to a hostel!! Maybe a fan in the room or complimentary ear plugs could help solve the issue. Otherwise, many thanks!

Great location!

My dorm room was on the corner, and I’m not sure if the noise came from the bar or from people in the park across the street, but it was extremely loud all night. Since it was very hot, I had to keep the windows open for air, which made it even harder to sleep with the noise carrying in. Then the bin men came very early in the morning, so I didn’t get much rest at all. Good place just with the heat and lack of earplugs made it a hard stay.

Perfect location, nice and cosy hostel with breakfast possibility and little bar snack downstairs. Room spacious and comfortable just it was noisy outside because of air-conditioning machines. But other than that perfect for the price paid.

Can get noisy if you open the windows. And depending on the room number you can be pretty far from the bathroom.

Loved this hostel in Lyon, a great location and the rooms were a really decent size. Fantastic location in Lyon and walkable to all the main areas. Felt super safe and nice bars around.

No air conditioning which I guess is standard enough in this part of France but it can get hot in the rooms! We left the windows open in the room and the noise from the bar outside was very loud. other than that a great place t ostay!

Very welcoming, lovely people staying there also. Very clean and shared bathrooms were spotless! Kids loved it, and a couple of other family groups there also

The hostel is quite clean overall; staff are very friendly. Rooms are big and spacious and well-equipped. The eating and lounge area is really nice. Nice clean toilets and shower facility.

There was construction going on right outside the room with lots of sound disrupting sleep; a warning would be helpful. The bed could be comfier. The kitchen could be slightly better equipped in-terms of pans and pots; there is only one induction hob so getting to cook takes time.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The room was clean and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The common area and kitchen had everything I needed. The location is excellent — close to public transport, cafes, and shops. The staff were especially wonderful: friendly, helpful, and always ready to give advice on where to go. Great value for money, and I will definitely come back again.

However, the Wi-Fi is unstable. It’s not a big issue for leisure, but it may be inconvenient for those who plan to work online. Food and drinks are not allowed in the rooms, which was a bit inconvenient. The staff enter the room without knocking or saying anything to do their work, which could have been done before check-in.
