The pressmatic button from the shower got broken while I was showering and I had to press constantly because the time was REALLY short for a shower.

The staff's warmth, responsiveness, and friendliness were incredible. The bed, although a little firm, was comfortable and provided good privacy.

The only negative for me was the airflow in the bedroom. You basically have to choose between windows open with airflow but LOTS of noise, or windows closed with disgustingly hot but quiet room. I had ear plugs so noise wasn't an issue for me but others in the room without them literally demanded to have the windows shut! Disappointing that some people aren't up with the play and don't bring ear plugs to a hostel!! Maybe a fan in the room or complimentary ear plugs could help solve the issue. Otherwise, many thanks!

Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at! Love the decor and vibe. Lots of communal space to relax if you feel like staying in. Great location in Lyon, for trendy shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Close to several metro. The staff were lovely and helpful and I think this friendly vibe encourages the guest to do the same. My 10-bed shared room was clean and spacious, as were the bathrooms.

My dorm room was on the corner, and I’m not sure if the noise came from the bar or from people in the park across the street, but it was extremely loud all night. Since it was very hot, I had to keep the windows open for air, which made it even harder to sleep with the noise carrying in. Then the bin men came very early in the morning, so I didn’t get much rest at all. Good place just with the heat and lack of earplugs made it a hard stay.

Can get noisy if you open the windows. And depending on the room number you can be pretty far from the bathroom.

Perfect location, nice and cosy hostel with breakfast possibility and little bar snack downstairs. Room spacious and comfortable just it was noisy outside because of air-conditioning machines. But other than that perfect for the price paid.

No air conditioning which I guess is standard enough in this part of France but it can get hot in the rooms! We left the windows open in the room and the noise from the bar outside was very loud. other than that a great place t ostay!

Loved this hostel in Lyon, a great location and the rooms were a really decent size. Fantastic location in Lyon and walkable to all the main areas. Felt super safe and nice bars around.

There was construction going on right outside the room with lots of sound disrupting sleep; a warning would be helpful. The bed could be comfier. The kitchen could be slightly better equipped in-terms of pans and pots; there is only one induction hob so getting to cook takes time.

The hostel is quite clean overall; staff are very friendly. Rooms are big and spacious and well-equipped. The eating and lounge area is really nice. Nice clean toilets and shower facility.

There are under-the-bed cupboards to lock your stuff in, but our 70L bags did not fit- which could have been a problem if we stayed more than a day. The duvets were not the cleanest- i decided to use my own one that ı brought with me. the location was okay overall- close to some popular spots-, but the neighborhood was not the best- we woke up in the middle of the night to screams, so keep that in mind. The public bathroom and toilets is not for the weak- I waited in line to even wash my face in the morning because it was too crowded- but this is something that may happen in every hostel especially in busy seasons.

The staff were great- nicest french people I have ever met. The location was fine- easy to reach from the main station with bus and 10 min walk to the touristic square. 24h reception. The hostel was very aesthethic- great for my aesthethic girlies

The kitchen is quite small. It’d be great to have a bread toaster. There weren’t any tea towels to dry our dishes. Some scissors and a few small chopping knives would be fantastic.

Breakfast was fine - it’d be great to have some none-cow’s milk yoghurt, cheese and milk options.

There were no tissues in the bathroom to dry the hands after washing them for two days. There is no air conditioner as far as I noticed.
