Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The restaurant was a little expensive for us and portions were on the small side but the quality of the food seemed very high. Val d'Isere was very empty in the summer so it all felt a little weird and fake.
As others have said, this is a lovely and well-organised hotel and we enjoyed our stay here. Great buffet breakfast. Worthwhile staying in the summer for a lovely experience at a fraction of the winter rate. Perhaps a good stop for a rest day while hiking the GR5.

Absolutely wonderful place to stopover on our GR55 hike. The Hotel was amazing and the reception was amazing after a long cold walk in the rain from Col d'Iseran. The breakfast buffet was way beyond our expectations. Although it was on a main road, the double glazing made it perfectly quiet inside the room. We would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in Val d'Isere, especially those hiking the GR5 or GR55

Allowed for early checkin, Great storage room for bicycles. Spacious room with large bathroom. Incredible rooftop sauna and also enjoyed the hammam and jacuzzi. Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast were amazing.

Great combination of charming alpine character and modern classy design. Very cool spa area which beautiful views of Bellevarde. Bar area is very appealing with a cool vibe (inside & outside) Room was comfortable with big bathroom. Breakfast had good selection. Friendly & warm welcome at reception. All staff very personable. Good location - easy 5 min walk to town. SPAR supermarket and pizza takeaway directly opposite. We were very happy here and would definitely return.

We found the food on the pricier side and not at the level we could have expected. That’s one thing this hotel needs to improve I would say.
The family room was great. The bar very cosy. The location fantastic. The parking very practical. The staff overall super friendly and efficient.

There was no conditioner offered in the bathroom only a shampoo/bodywash.
Amazing hotel in a great location. A short walk into Val D'Isere and close to the bus stop to get to the various different ski lifts. Nice clean and warm rooms with excellent bath and shower. Lovely cosy bar with great staff and wide selection of drinks. The Spa has lovely views of the mountain and was perfect to relax after a day on the slopes.

Great hotel, food excellent, lovely staff, extremely clean and quiet, bar has a nice atmosphere. Nice games room for the kids handy for ski rental which is over the road, Right by mini spar supermarket for snacks and supplies loved the spa after a busy day on the slopes.

They could add a few bits to make it 4 star easily like toiletries in the rooms being more comprehensive but no complainants for what it was!
Everything. Staff were great and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Facilities good - really more than I expected from a 3 star hotel. We loved the location also

Friendly staff, great restaurant, highly recommend, clean, ski-in . 10 to 15 min walk to main ski area or take bus 20 metres from hotel. Or short climb to slope to ski direct to main area.

Breakfast was lacking. Warm dishes were few and poor quality. Needed more choices overall .. cold cuts fruits etc
Friendly staff. Amenities such as underground parking and showers and luggage storage for after check out we great! Very clean also!

Our only minor improvement would be the quality of duvet and pillows. Although this could just be personal preference.
This hotel is fantastic. Great location, wonderful staff, excellent facilities - brilliant all round. Parking is very easy under the hotel. Drying room for skis and snowboards is very practical. The downstairs bar area is cosy and comfortable, with a great selection of drinks. Restaurant is excellent, food is delicious (especially the raclette). Great spa facilities on top floor which were very welcome after a day on the slopes. Hard to believe it is only 3*s…

More variety of foods needed at breakfast including salads and vegetables. Scrambled eggs were not good. Terrible coffee in breakfast area.
Very comfortable beds. Lovely restaurant. Very quick room service. Helpful and friendly staff on reception and in restaurant (especially Latecia). Nice lounge and bar area. Very close to supermarket and shuttle bus stops. Clean well located ski locker room.
